Blue Skies Airships, Dunkeswell Airfield, Dunkeswell, England:
Vera, Kara, Patricia, and Becky look at the alien research ship they transported back from inside Russia. Standing next to them was a heavily pregnant woman with a huge belly. A woman with a white pixie-style haircut was standing next to the heavily pregnant woman with a clear tablet in her hands. She was also pregnant as well. She looked to be seven months pregnant.
Standing near the pregnant woman was a young, short woman with dark hair wearing a standard white lab coat and a custom skin-tight body suit. She was wearing a pair gold rim glasses and was looking at the alien craft.
“Mrs. MacLeod, I’m impressed with your security force, but are you sure that this craft will be safe here?” Vera and Patricia looked towards Mrs. MacLeod when they spoke.
Surrounding all of them were people dressed in black assault suits, with their heads covered. Vera had never seen any type of weapon they held like it before. She could tell the weapon was something new.
Patricia and Vera weren’t sure an airship manufacturing hangar was safe enough to store an alien research vessel. Sure, they had an impressive security force, led by a woman named Rose Bounty. But it was still a blimp hangar.
Rose saw Tessa motion her forward. Rose leaves her place and walks over to stand next to Tessa.
“Ladies, I can understand your concern, but let me reassure you that no one will know what is in this hangar or get into this hangar without proper clearance. Every single member of my security team are highly trained individuals who have years of training and experience doing the impossible.” Tessa knew each member of her security team was trained by her Uncle Jack’s special team and were retired Mi 5/6 agents or former SAS special forces.
Vera had heard the name Bounty before and knew they were highly respected in the intelligence and law enforcement community. Patricia had already done an extensive search of Tessa MacLeod and found out she was half Bounty. And was the daughter of one of their ancient enemies’ clans. Tessa’s mother had been a Bounty, who had married a MacLeod.
The head of the security force protecting all the hangars Tessa’s company owns was married to a Bounty. Her husband was Angus Bounty, and they had only been married for three years. Rose herself had an impressive career as a special agent with Alpha Global Security Forces; she was also well respected among all the special operators and holds the longest sniper shot ever recorded. She killed three insurgents at five thousand meters.
The sniper rifle she used was custom-made just for her, and she had been trained by her grandfather, who was famous among the special forces community.
Tessa and her assistant Diana had been surprised when MI6 had gotten in touch with her. Even her aunt Charlotte didn’t know about this. Diana was quiet. She wasn’t feeling good, but it was important she didn’t show it. She’ll be glad when she gives birth to her baby.
Rose removes her helmet and looks towards the four women. “Trust me, ladies, we have been working for the British secret service for years. My security personnel can handle any situation that might occur.”
“Those are bold words, Mrs. Bounty.” Vera wonders if Rose Bounty was overconfident.
“Trust me, we have a few surprises.” Rose lets out a whistle.
Vera, Patricia, Becky, and Kara turn when they hear a metal vault-style door open. It was the same door they came through when they entered the hangar. They spot two huge pitch-black wolves walking into the hangar.
“What the hell are those?” Kara watches as the wolves walk over to Rose Bounty.
“These are genetically engineered wolves that have been trained to military standards. These guys will be here guarding this alien ship, along
with my security forces. They are very territorial and only respond to members of my family.” She remembers meeting Lady at Mrs. Bounty’s funeral.
“Well, the head directors trust you, and you come highly recommended. Members from Blake Research and Development will be coming to start researching and examining this vessel.”
“I’ll need their names and other personal information before I allow them in this hangar.” Rose had her orders from her husband on who would be allowed here.
“I’ll make sure you get that information.” Patricia contacts Janet and lets her know.
Fenrir and Freki sit down near Rose. They relax when she touches them. She knew these wolves didn’t trust others. The two of them don’t take their eyes off the four women.
“Well, it looks like you have everything under control, Mrs. MacLeod. I’ve been told to pass along that no one is to know or speak about what is being done here.” Vera looks towards everyone standing next to Tessa MacLeod.
“Understood, Ms. Black,” Tessa spoke up.
Once Patricia, Vera, Kara, and Becky leave the hangar and get back into the black SUV they had come in. Kara looks at the other three women.
“I have to say, those were some huge wolves that came into the hangar.”
“I have to agree. I bet they could chew my body up and shit it out without any problem.” Becky had never seen anything like them before.
“What do you think, Pat? Does that company have the type of security your employer is looking for?” Vera knew Pat was from the future from their conversations.
“From what I was able to access, I would say yes. Their security team are top notch, and they have a good reputation.” Patricia had accessed the computer system at the hangar. It wasn’t as complex as some computer systems she has access to, but for what they did. It was well-suited.
“I can’t believe that two members of their people were pregnant. It has to be hard for them.”
“Well, if I were the owner of a company and people I didn’t know were coming. I would make an appearance, no matter what shape I was in.” Vera knew she wouldn’t want to miss the opportunity.
“I think you did that once, boss.” Becky smiles at Vera.
Vera looks back at Becky and points her finger at her.
“Well, now that matter is taken care of. I think all of our team members need to take some time off.” Patricia looks towards Vera.
“I think you're right. So, where is everyone going and for how long?” Vera knew her team could use some downtime.
“Two weeks?” Becky wanted two weeks.
“Sounds good.”
Once they arrive back at their hotel in England, which is not far from the private airfield. The two teams have dinner together and plan on going on leave for two weeks.
