I had my own computer business in the Brisbane area when I transitioned and not one of my customers gave me a hard time when I rang them and told them I would be turning up to their homes in a skirt.
One or two even said it made them feel more comfortable having a girl tech fix their computer rather than letting a man into their home.

Mind you, the Freemasons were a bit tetchy about having a Master of a lodge in a dress rather than a tux and let me go. I did indicate that I also would prefer not to bare my left breast...
