bravo!
This has been a great story that i have enjoyed following! There"s even enough of a cliffhanger to warrant an epilogue (hint!) like is Dolenz really gone. A wonderful piece thank you!

Well, I knew this had to come.
This was a fine, engaging tale, and I look forward to more from you.

I demand ... Er no ... Request
That an epilogue be written. Do the angels go their separate ways when the demon threat is gone? Will monica get with gene, and will they discover that all children of an angel will be angels? Makes sense, too - the baby in itero is bathed in the angel strain, and cannot encounter the omega strain until birth. A whole subrace of angels - what material to run with. After all this war, please give at least one a happy ending. Please, please, please!!!

All good things...
You know the rest. I half expected this, and I think this was a good point to wrap things up, for now. But I do note the question mark after The End, and all of my previous remarks about the possibility this goes higher up are still valid. Plus, we don't know that Dolenz was destroyed, and I think that believing that no one else in the world was working on the virus, with far less noble intentions than Lisa, is extremely naive.
There's still plenty that can be done with this, and I do hope you'll revisit this setting in the future, Morpheus. But even if you don't, I thank you for the enjoyment this has brought me, and many others.

Excellent Tale
As they say, "All good things must come to and end". I have thoroughly enjoyed this story. And look forward, no doubt, to more from the pen of Morpheus. Thank you
Joanna
Quite a Good Tale
Very enjoyable, thank you!
Thank you Morpheus
Thank you Morpheus for a wonderful and engaging story. :-)
Adjustments have been made.
All the angels seem at least moderately comfortable with who and what they are now, and for the former men, embracing their feminine, female selves now. The demons are still a threat, but not as much as they once were.
Wonderful tale, Morpheus. As usual.
Maggie
Thank you...
Still have a partial reading block, but I think this story put a dent in it.
Very well done
I loved this story, and you told it with great skill.
At some point I thought the shared dreams would turn out to be a form of advanced communication skill, which the queen used to direct her minions and maybe even spread havoc among the angels, sort of like the way the bugs in "Ender's game" communicate.
The story was a real pleasure to read.
Good story
Good story, thanks for sharing it.
Great story from the moment
Great story from the moment it began to the ending. I had looked forward every night between 10 and 11 to read the next installment. What the hell am I going to do now...lol. look forward to seeing what next you bring to the table a d I can only hope my other favorite writer gets his stuff finished and out soon...
A great run
Really enjoyed this one. I didn't see the end coming with the last episode - I'd expected that the queen was turning Dolenz into another copy of herself, and we'd see that continue. Of course, you left that ambiguous so if you ever want you can pick that up. Similarly, a cast of 8 angels is getting a bit unwieldy, but with immunity spreading you've left it so they can separate if there's ever a sequel.
Anyway, that's all looking forward. Great story, very enjoyable throughout.

Lord, what fools these mortals be!
Teasing open ends!
What happens in the end and of course what's exactly our dear Senator's fate is left open. It's the best sort of ending letting us readers imagine and guess all sorts of wild things!
There are mainstream writers I eagerly wait for their next works, but none so much as I do Morpheus's extravaganzas. First they feature gender issues which is of interest to me, and they have great characters as well as being terrific stories with intricate plots and surprises.
They are just great writing.
Thank you so much Morpheus for inviting us down the 'rabbit' hole again. :)
Hugs

fantastic
I loved this story from beginning to end.
Thank you so much for sharing!
Very nice
ending! I like the way you wrapped this up. Another great job Morpheus!

Great story,but then,
I expect nothing less when the name Morpheus is listed as the author. The short chapters darned near killed me, but in the end, they were worth waiting for. Thanks Morpheus, for a terrific story and great characters.

Finally got a round to
Finally got around to reading this! Another great story from the dreamer! There is definitely room for a sequel here and I'd be very eager to see one.
Have a deliciously devious day,
wow!
♥ Love it! Thanks for sharing, I hope they return for another engaging tale.
A question of Bio physics.
For some time, I have been thinking of a story where a catastrophe causes rapid evolution. What emerges from the maelstrom is a stronger, smarter creature with less violent tendencies. I wonder how this would work out. Surely humanity must be shunted away from what we know is coming.

Thank you
for a riveting tale which I read back-to-back in some free time. I could not set it down once I picked it up, and am kinda glad I was reading after it was finished, otherwise the quality and spellbinding nature of the story would have left me in agonising Monica-withdrawals between posts!!
I know I haven't commented on each part, but I think as a whole it is a great tale - made better by the compelling nature of the universe and its history as the events around Demon 0 and the ensuing years of fighting were revealed.
Unfortunately the level of power-grabbing and self-centredness of the senator and general really came as no surprise, but then there's always a bad guy when government is involved, and they were as bad as apples come.
Poor pete deserved ... better? - it is going to be rough on Petra for a while, but hopefully a period of relative stability will see the angels become even closer and everyone find a measure of peace in this horrid world.
Thanks again for the tale.

Hypothetical
Cold virus cross-mutated with tailor-made backdoor virus = Burke's Biomorphic Virus?
Would explain why the majority of Burke's cases are minor changes and the rarity of Anomolies. Just something that popped into my head when re-reading the story today.
kudos
Every time things looked darkest for the heroines, I still kept turning the pages. I HAD to know how they came through the obstacle and pressed on to the next issue. I invested in the characters and story, NEEDING them to succeed. This type of reader commitment is characteristic of a skilled author practicing his well honed craft.
