That's what happens when you
That's what happens when you think to yourself, "What if an otaku who is head of research at a DARPA lab decided to get revenge..." and it went from there. Just imagine living in the Catgirl Virus universe.
Life would suck if it weren't so entertaining sometimes.
Good story
but told a little too quick I think. I felt rather hurried.

I meant to expand it, but
I meant to expand it, but full time work, full time school, and keeping up my acreage and house made it difficult, so I posted what I had. Hopefully I can expand on it, but anyone who wants to write more with that universe can feel free to.
Life would suck if it weren't so entertaining sometimes.
cute, very fast paced.
This is very fast paced. I like it.
It can be used to expand and build on. In fact this story could be adapted into the MORFS universe as an attempt to artificially create select MORFS like enhacements to humans.
Thanks! Anyone who wishes to
Thanks! Anyone who wishes to expand or tell the stories of those effected by the virus is definitely welcome to.
I am not sure it could be adapted to MORFS though because the virus is highly contagious and locks the changes in. Within a few years everyone in this world is changed.
Life would suck if it weren't so entertaining sometimes.
No ADD problems there
A story told in notes? That was..., interesting. I don't think anyone with ADD is going to have problems sticking to this fast paced number.
Oklahoma born and raised cowgirl
In its favor
That's one thing in the story's favor: its fast pace and overall style is good for one with ADD or something related -- such as a certain brand of Asperger's?

An Engaging Mad Scientist
An engaging story of a Mad Scientist, and his obsession with his research.
The diarist has become the "lead" researcher? The "the biological enhancement team"? I couldn't help rhyming "lead" with "dead", and think of research into enhancing biology with lead, and the effects thereof. Humorous thought of a deadly serious issue. It appears (for example) that lead-based gasoline caused perhaps as much as half our crime beginning in the sixties -- by causing brain damage to our children. (Yes, I know what he really meant.)
"I discovered a side effect to unlocking what I estimate to be 25-30% of my brain." Is this a reference to the long-debunked urban legend that we use only 3% or so of our brain?
"We can't have a bunch of jerks running the show, now can we." If only...
"Scientists have not yet identified..." Either Benjamin Takahashi's email never got through, or the New York Time's article was censored.
