Great Scott!!!
Wow what a story Scott. You know this begs for a sequel don't you? I hardly know where to start, but to say I'm sorry all the traitors didn't get caught. Since I'm almost falling asleep at the keyboard after staying up at all hours to read this tale, I might comment more later.
Just wonderful!

The Princess has left the building!
... but Her Majesty, the Queen, has arrived!
This story was long, but very well paced, and Scott, you did a good job of using the story to give readers the background on your well-crafted world.
I was torn, though, with Rayna's situation. For so long she was set up as an obstacle, but her self-sacrifice to keep from being used as a hostage left me heartbroken.
At some point you're going to have to make sure Gisella gets her comeuppance, you know.
Wonderful story, Scott. Thank you for sharing your tale.
