Lena smile was tight and cautious. “Ms. Valentine, you look stunning today,” she said, her gaze flitting nervously over Angel’s inked skin peeking from beneath her blazer and the daring cut of her skirt.

Over the next week, I started thinking about things. Who was I interested in? Was it boys, girls, or both? Did it even matter, since the whole town was family and they were likely all also being offered the chance to change bodies? Some of them wouldn’t, but they probably all had the choice.

But I wasn’t sure at all. I wasn’t really feeling that kind of feeling. Wasn’t sure at all who I might want to ask to date. I told Mom about it.

Author's Note. I took a long break from this one because I was having trouble coming up with the next relics that would drive the story further. I have finally found what I was looking for and am looking forward to moving this story on.
