Looks to me that a few of the jerks at Whateley who believe they the end and be all of everything, are going to have to watch themselves or wind up with a DROW or three kicking them around the campus.
You can buy real "moonshine" in Kentucky at various stores. The Mason jars that it comes in are labeled either "aged 8 days" or "aged 30 days".
Store bought Moonshine...
has to adhere to federal regulations which really cuts down the alcohol percentage. Also the stuff made to sell at the store labeled "Moonshine" is mostly fermented sugar. This is done to cut costs, and back in the mountains we called this stuff "Sugar-head liquor" and is known as the cheap crap of moonshine. What most think of as moonshine is Corn Liquor, made from fermenting corn as it was one of the most abundant crops to make it with. In the area my family is from Apples orchards are predominate and thus you would find an abundance of "Apple brandy" (moonshine made from apples.) or Peach brandy, Plum brandy, etc. And while the fruit made ones were normally called Brandy by the moonshiners, it was just as strong and potent as the corn liquors.
What most do not understand about distilling is that when the still is ran at the correct temperature, your final product that comes out of the condenser is as close to 100% alcohol (200 proof) as you can get and is cut down with water or "Backin's" to lower the alcohol content to a drinkable level. Most liquors sold are in the 160-180 proof range (80 to 90% alcohol) Everyclear is reported to be 190 proof, I was never that good at "checking the bead" to test the proof but I highly doubt the reported proof of everclear is correct as there is quite a difference between it and true moonshine, also everclear tastes like really poorly made, watered down, sugar-head (e.g. tastes like crap)
Oh adn all liquor comes out of the still clear like moonshine, so jsut because its clear does not mean it's moonshine. Liquor gets the amber color from being stored in charred wooden barrels for several years, which changes the color, mellows the "bite" and added a hint of vanilla flavor.
Word of warning to all y'all city slickers. Don't go out and try to buy moonshine from 'shiner's you don't know and trust. hell even if you trust him, think twice! Way too many so called 'shiners today are only in it to make money and don't give one iota if what they make is safe. They use old steel drums (who knows what they contained before) for their stills and even automotive radiators for condensers, either one could cause deadly poisons to be secreted into the liquor they make.

"Yes...the Drow are rare...extremely rare!"
cool, she could have more, if she was so inclined ...
Bully
I cant wait for the freshies brick to start picking on Kevin. Kevin sure will learn the way of the Drow faster I guess. That should be something very fun coming up in the future I hope. And Even if the brick manage to bash Kevin to Doyle, he will soon learn not to mess with a Fae moreover a Drow. And he will face the Jabress for sure after that. hahahhaa..
yep its going to be
yep its going to be interesting--and the twins might let Kevin be a little beat...because they feel for the old ways "a male must earn his mate" But they will not let the kid hurt Kevin too bad... or others who know the twins will warn them off!

Might does not mean smart
Good thing there are translations for Emily, 'cause my translator ran out of batteries. Bobby is a bit better, just a bit.
If a new student arrives at a new school and doesn't know about the past of those who attend said school, it's not a wise idea to start acting like they are the meanest thing on earth. Because there are those who are a lot meaner and don't take kindly to loud mouths who pick on the weaker ones.
Kevin already has a reputation thanks to the twins past events. But he will run up against someone like the loud mouth and will learn fast how much training he needs. And when he learns he may want to wise up at the same time. Because being stary eyed won't help.
Others have feelings too.
Bobby the kid from the hills
Bobby the kid from the hills was totally edited by Nuuan in 100% AUTHENTIC speech form the area...as he is from that region!
So I can only blame him (DUCKS)

New Children
Wondering why the elves would want to have more Drow children, as apposed to normal elven children? Unless of course their breeding warriors, then that makes sense; however they won't be command-able like the twins....
you would have to wonder..
you would have to wonder...are they planing for more Drow?
Or does he just thinking...she had a rare elf child and the likelihood of her having more elves is high...so encourage her!
good or EVIL? who knows?
