The problem with hazing......
Is that it serves absolutely no purpose other than fulfilling the sadistic needs of small people. Quite often the excuse for doing it is, “why not? I had to put up with it?”
So, it’s OK to treat others like shit just because someone did it to you previously.
It is truly telling that no one seems terribly concerned about Audrey, and that all Aleah did was find a way to work out her anger at the Tri Pi’s.

I wanted to like these characters but aside from Isabelle they're all pretty awful. Isabelle is the only decent character, though we don't see much of Olivia like I'm thinking she's forced to be with mike IE: Arranged marriage but I don't know.

That's a compliment, it's easy to write a relatable character - but writing one that people can hate? That's a challenge because you have to go against your very nature.

Sorry I DO like your characters, I meant I hate their personalities, and rotten behavior. I apologize, I didn't make that clear. I love this story because it shows just how SELFISH these girls are.
Also how clueless, Audrey clearly doesn't want to transition yet, they should have just sent her on her way long ago. The girl has no drive to transition, why waste so much time with her when you could find a trans girl who actually is interested in transitioning?

Really doesn't care about Audry. I think if she spills her guts to Tri Pi things WILL go down HARD dor Gamma. I mean we ALL know the end result if you read Alison's pledge, test.

What is with Aleah and her
What is with Aleah and her split personality, one minute she feels sorry for Audrey and wants to help her the next minute she turns into queen bitch and doesn't care whether she lives or dies, not to mention what she does to the pledges.
The way I see it
Aleah wanted to originally help Audrey in order to alleviate her guilt about not helping her other transgender friend more. So she is helping Audrey to make herself feel better. When some other need of Aleah becomes a priority, then she is going to satisfy that before she thinks of what will benefit Audrey.
“Get them up,” I said. “I’ve had enough.” Aleah obviously wasn't thinking about whether the pledges had enough.
"I really thought I was better than that"
that kind of attitude will bite her in the butt one day ...
House of terrible lives?
Up to this chapter it was Audrey who was the girls center of attention. They were so concerned about her after Mike beat up Todd.
It was during this time that Aleah's reason for helping Todd was reveled, and, something in Tiffany's past that caused her to erect an armored shell.
Now this chapter explains that Aleah is having financial troubles, due in part because she refused to bow down to her parents and not go into medicine. She also reaveled her aspirations and her dislikes. Those aspirations are the ones people have who come from nothing, while those around them have more or it all--hence her vehement hatred of Tri Pi.
Olivia is in an abuse relationship which will, one day, cost her her life. Why does she stay with a person who is obviously a psychotic sociopath? Who's making her stay with Mike, just Mike?
Courtney seems to be the only one so far who is the voice of reason, or the one who doesn't seem to be hiding something about her personal life.
That house has several members who are as bad off as Todd, trying to hide something they think will cause others to reject them.
Are there any Greek letters that mean, the hurting ones?
Others have feelings too.
