Gordon McKewn's purchase of a used SuitCase would change his life in unexpected ways. How could he have known it was really an artifact from another dimension?
Your
Self
by Lainie Lee
A funny, suspenseful, transgendered sci-fi romp about a nearly magical suitcase that dispenses an impossibly efficient bodysuit, this novelette (11,500 words) by Lainie Lee is in part an experiment. It's been donated to BigCloset for sale as an E-Book. The price is pretty low, just $1.25, of which BigCloset will receive $1.00. Purchasers will receive the right to download the story in PDF format from Lulu.com. Just click the link below to be taken to LuLu for a secure purchase. Note, this story is rated Adults Only.

Also, anyone who makes a donation to BigCloset of $10.00 through Amazon.com will be offered the choice of this PDF or another one. Use the link below to go to our donation page: BigCloset Donor Page.
Thanks,
Erin Halfelven
If you've already bought and read "Suit Your Self", this is a good spot to leave your comments. You can also leave comments on the Lulu page. If you want to comment about this whole premium-for-donation idea, this is the place. I got the idea from some of the webcomics who offer wallpapers or other downloads for donations. Thank you, very much. - Erin

Wow, that was quick.
Someone made a donation and requested the PDF before the pixels quit jiggling. :) Hope you enjoy the story and if you do, please leave a comment or review here or at Lulu. :)

The response on this has been very good!
Apparently, Lainie has a good size following for her stories. :) One thing, two people sent in donations but did not hit the "Send Info" button at Amazon. If you don't hit that button, Amazon does not tell me who you are so I can't send the PDF. Now, that's okay, maybe you ordered separately or didn't want the PDF but if you did, email me at joyce@qnez.com and tell me about your donation. This goes for any donation made earlier in August, too.
And I know that not everybody likes A-rated stories, so I'm working on a M-rated substitute PDF. Also, if you got the PDF and can't read it, I can send a .DOC or .TXT version, just ask.
Thanks,
Erin

As of Midnight of 28 August...
I've sent out five files for new donations, one for an old donation and Lulu reports 14 sales of "Suit Your Self". The numbers in the donation box in the left column do not include the $14 for the actual sales since I won't get that money until the end of September.
Around that time, there will be a new e-book being offered, probably by me unless someone else wants to donate a story?
Lainie intends to work on a sequel, too, so knowing her we'll probavly see that sometime in a year or two. :) "Suit Your Self" was originally written in 2001, BTW, as a contribution to a planned TG-SciFi anthology! A handful of people may have seen an earlier version. I did the editing, so blame me for any errors you find.
I've got some other new wrinkles planned for BigCloset and some new stories. And if you have a story, by all means post it!
Hugs,
Erin

A nice twist on Bodysuit stories, Lainie.
Gordon gets into more and more trouble as time goes on, and is still not out of it at the end. Don’t be too long writing the sequel to either provide another chapter in the story, or complete it.
And there are some nice twists in the story itself. I won't say more, as I don't want to be a spoiler.
Just donate and get your own copy from Top Shelf.

It usually comes back to you.

Suit Your Self
Glad you liked it, Holly. :)
I have plotted out a sequel, tentatively titled, "The Law Suit" but I have no idea when or if I will ever get to write it. I wrote SYS several years ago, actually.
But poor Gordon is in a bit of a fix, huh? :) And whatever happened to...anyway? LOL.
Love,
Lainie
