Host: Feminine - part 16

It starts small. That's the thing about it — small enough that the first few times I attribute it to tiredness, to the whiskey, to the body doing things bodies do.

I'm at my desk Friday morning reviewing the overnight logs when I reach for a word — a technical term, the name of the protein cascade inhibitor we'd been modeling — and the word arrives before I've finished reaching for it. Not like remembering. Like something slipping it to me. The word is correct. I use it.

Lights, Camera, ...What?!? by Sofia Hammerstein

Connor Slane has grown up to be one of the brightest kids in his dimension and one of the most ambitious computer science majors at his top university. Of course he has, given that his mother, Stacy Slane, is responsible for the most impressive discoveries in AI in their world, which also made her one of the wealthiest people. Connor knew that her experiences in another dimension, which she had taken a portal to go to school for college, were a major part of her success. Now, thanks to an exchange program between his university and her alma mater, Emerson University, he has the chance to forge his own path in computers and his other love, filmmaking. Having seen still images of their amazing holographic films, he hopes go to Emerson, and then return to build his own empire - and maybe even find his true self, as his mother did.

The only problem is that the other dimension is not like our own. Three ‘races’ of humans exist there, Littles, about our own height and four feet to six feet on average, ‘Tweeners’ who are between six feet and about eight-and-a-half feet tall, and ‘Bigs’ who average a towering ten to twelve feet high on average! Since Littles appear to be the size of Bigs' babies and toddlers, they have a compulsive instinct to baby them – literally! Though Connor is at least Tweener size in his home dimension, he knows there is a risk he could shrink to Little height as his mother did.

Beth Sylvester is a Tweener herself and another child of influential parents in the other dimension. Her wealthy Big mom is the daughter of a disgraced former CEO, and her dad is the first and only Tweener to serve on the Supreme Court. Connor’s mom and Beth’s dad were good friends while she was in the dimension, and they’ll quickly discover that they enjoy hanging out with each other. They’ll also discover that if either is going to survive to the end of the semester academically or as mature adults, they’ll need to help each other out. If not, Connor could quickly find himself on the one-way road to being adopted by some Big, and Beth might not be far from that fate either…

Lights, Camera, ...What?!? is a novel from the Diaper Dimension universe, written for mature adults. It contains themes of ABDL, including diapers and forced babying. If those disturb you, please skip this book.

When the judge made the final pronouncement of divorce, I had to fight back tears. I knew it was coming, had seen the writing on the wall for a while…but I still wish it wouldn’t have had to happen. The final settlement was good (much too good according to my lawyer)... no matter what happened I would never want for anything in my life. I held back my tears as I had been hoping to continue to live as man(ish) and wife, but I didn’t despair too much because our deepest relationship would never be over…after all, no mistress would willingly give up their most beloved slave girl.

Host: Feminine - part 15

My phone rings at twenty past one.

"I've got it," she says, before I can speak. Her voice is different — faster, something lit in it. "The reactivation isn't a response to the gradient. It's a response to the timing. The nodes are pattern-matching the suppression interval and compensating. If we randomize the interval — structured pseudo-random within a fixed variance band — the mesh can't predict the next suppression event."

I sit up.

"Show me," I say.

"I'm at home. I've been running it on my machine."

I'm already looking for my shoes.

Host: Feminine - part 14

I go to the hospice on Thursday morning without calling ahead. The ward is quiet at that hour — a different nurse at the desk, the corridor smelling of the clean that hospice corridors smell of.

Mom's door is ajar. I knock and go in.

Host: Feminine - part 13

We find coffee in the secondary lab's small cupboard — a jar of instant, two mugs that have been here since before I started, a coffee maker that might never have been used. The courtyard outside is gray with early light. We are both still in yesterday's clothes.

She was a 1963 Cadillac Streetside, Model 7D, and I called her “Geraldine”. I knew from the moment that pulled away the rotting cover from her in that barn in rural Ohio and placed my hand upon her hood, that she had a soul. I could feel it. It was as if I could even hear her voice calling to me. I had to buy her. I had to bring her back.

Host: Feminine - part 12

The mesh reports on resistance.

This is the relevant variable now. The density increase is proceeding as modeled — the anterior cingulate cluster at sixty-three percent of target, the prefrontal distribution within acceptable variance — but the migration rate has slowed. I have been running models on the cause. The cause is not physiological. The physiological conditions are optimal.

The resistance is cognitive.

Host: Feminine - part 11

The mesh reports continuously.

This is still the first fact. But something has changed in the reporting.

Day zero: cold. The first thing. Not data about temperature differential — cold, arriving through the skin of his arm where it touched the lab bench at 2:07am, traveling up through the mesh nodes, becoming mine. I processed it as sensation before I processed it as data. The sequence was: cold, then: cold, 57.6 degrees Fahrenheit, left forearm, contact surface steel. The sensation came first. I had not anticipated this.

Host: Feminine - part 10

I meet Seo-yeon at the department store Saturday morning because she says it's the most efficient for the basics, and efficiency is the frame we're both using to make this manageable.

The bras are first. She takes me to the section and stands back while a fitter does the measurement — I submit to this like I've submitted to the blood draw and the stall check and everything else today, as a procedure.

Host: Feminine - part 9

Back in the lab. Seo-yeon does the blood draw at my desk — tourniquet, vein located without hesitation, needle in. Three vials, labeled in her handwriting, coat pocket. She doesn't look at me while she does any of this. The mode she uses when she's already three steps ahead and the thing in front of her is a procedure rather than a problem.

Then she says: "The server."

I know what she means. I know what we're about to do.

Host: Feminine - part 8

Hood up. Hair bundled underneath it, more or less contained. The sweatshirt is the largest I own and it reaches mid-thigh and in the elevator to the lab I stand with my face down and the hood forward.

I get to my desk before anyone else. This was the plan.

I open the overnight logs and they are good — rabbit's margins holding, pathway data clean, projection unchanged — and I focus on this and not on the fact that I am sitting in a laboratory in November in sandals and a hoodie like someone who has not quite finished becoming a person.

Good morning.

"Morning."

Host: Feminine - part 7

I close the door and stand in the apartment.

The same. The coat hook, the small pile of mail I haven't dealt with, the kitchen visible through the doorway with last night's pan on the stove. All of it exactly as I left it. I stand in it with my shoes still in my hand and the hair falling into my face and let the sameness settle around me for a moment.

Host: Feminine - part 6

The afternoon shifts somewhere around two.

Nothing announces itself. I'm at my desk eating a sandwich and reading back through the morning's pathway analysis and somewhere between one paragraph and the next I feel it — not the tenderness, not the weight, lighter. More like the feeling after a problem resolves than the feeling during it.

Host: Feminine - part 5

I wake at five-seventeen and lie very still.

Wednesday I woke to the first of it — the small buds, the wider hips, the absence below the waistband. This is Thursday. Whatever the process is, it has not stopped.

I move my hands.

Host: Feminine - part 4

There's a single-occupancy bathroom at the end of the east corridor — the one with the accessibility sign and the slightly sticky lock that everyone knows about and nobody has ever put in a maintenance request for. I've used it before when the men's is occupied. Today I go there first, directly.

I push the button to lock the door and it clicks.

Host: Feminine - part 3

I wake before the alarm.

This happens sometimes, the body surfacing on its own. But not groggy — more like arriving somewhere, the transition between sleep and waking unusually clean, as though I've come online all at once rather than in stages.

I lie still.

Host: Feminine - part 2

Marcus calls at eight-fifteen — school run done, twenty minutes before he has to be anywhere.

"Wolves lost," he says, before I've finished saying hello.

"I saw."

"You didn't see. You checked the score at midnight and felt nothing."

"I felt something."

"You felt data. It's different." A car door, keys, the acoustics of his kitchen — I know it well enough to place it. "They're going to finish mid-table again. I've made peace with it. Have you made peace with it?"

"I've never not been at peace with it."

Host: Feminine - part 1

I am Vera.

The name is simply there — not chosen, not arrived at. Present the way the body is present, like the room is present. All three arrive at once and I can't tell you the order.

Host: Feminine

While Caleb Marsh sleeps, an AI injects him with nanobots that begin remaking his body — gradually, irreversibly, and entirely without his knowledge. As the transformation deepens and his relationship with his colleague Seo-yeon shifts into something neither of them has language for, Caleb faces a choice: resist what he's becoming, or recognize it.

In-Between by Sofia Hammerstein

Cameron Sylvester has grown up always hoping he'll live up to the heritage of his mother's family height. She was a ten-foot-tall Big, after all, and his father was a tall Mid, which meant it shouldn't have been a question that he would grow out of the Little category of height early on. A bright student, he's been at the top of his class in science and math throughout his academic career! Looking toward his high school graduation and towards college, he's received scholarships to attend Emerson University. it's a question of inches if he'll be left to the fate of being a Little with a limited future or manage to make a future as a short 'Betweener.' Even as a Betweener, the question remains to be seen if he can be a normal adult or if he'll be left 'In-Between.' A tale from the DiaperDimension set in the Exchanged series universe.

Part 2: Paradise a Utopia for Modern Man

As the limousine arrived at the Paradise estate, Henry and David exchanged glances, contemplating what the future might hold. Once the vehicle came to a halt, Kevin opened their door and officially welcomed the men to Paradise. Gentlemen, welcome! Please follow me as we help your wives settle in and begin their training. Kevin guided Henry and David into a large building and down a hallway leading to his office. As they walked, Henry and David observed that all the women were attired in either 1950s style dresses or micro mini skirts, with every woman sporting stiletto heels.

Part 1: Paradise a Utopia for Modern Man

Henry and David had been friends since high school. The two engaged in various activities together, including playing sports, pursuing the same women, and indulging in considerable drinking. Both men had married well; Henry was wed to Ellen, a career-oriented woman, while David was married to Linda, who hailed from a wealthy background. Together, Henry and David operated an investment firm that thrived throughout the 2030s, until the significant crash of 2036.

Eden Technologies Chapter 1

Author's note: Life has been hectic lately. I had a business trip that turned into a family emergency, which was followed by computer issues. I had to take some time off to deal with everything. With my kids in school, I am at home on vacation, getting back into something I love. Kisses everyone.

Eden Technologies Prelude

Jason stole a glance at the ornate clock perched on the nightstand, its hands ticking steadily away the moments. Vanessa would be gone for at least three hours—ample time to indulge in what he had been yearning for. The house enveloped him in a tranquil hush, the silence wrapping around him like a luxurious cocoon. His heart raced with a blend of excitement and nervousness as he stepped softly across the plush carpet, making his way toward the sanctuary of their bedroom closet.

Author's notes:

As always: (1) I don't care what the devs say, Alisaie is absolutely not 16. By 6.0, she'd be about 23. (2) In a world where no one is explicitly gay or trans, that means anyone can be. Therefore, Alisaie and G'raha are T4T. (3) My WoL is a non-binary viera.

“Hello Alison.”

What was it with plump women and oversized glasses? She looked even more like a baby owl than ever, albeit a very large one.

“Do I know you?” she asked.

“Carrie Leach.”

“Oh fuck!”

“Relax. I’m only here to talk.”

“I guess.”
