Next chapter and the final one for this arc is next week.
I'll be writing a few more with her and her friends, but they'll be spread out. With Whateley stories there will be more Tink, Shisa, Forte and others soon.

I had an interesting idea a while ago about a shifter who has to go into deep cover because of his enemies, and this was the result.

Wow,... truly brilliant
So good you could have finished there. Not read much of the Whateley stuff, but this seems to be a really well worked stand alone story line. The characters were great and very realistic (well apart from being supers :-). The usual superhero stuff did not get in the way of the story and so far there has not been the predictable super beats up bad guy against impossible odds ending.
Hmmm do I read the next instalment and risk disappointment.

The next instalment will be a while.
It's part of a shared universe, so I need to keep on pace with most of the other stories. I also have several other Whateley stories to write.
The next story for Just Me will be a short one where she has a combat exam for school, it would help to know more about Whateley for it, but not totally essential. Then there will be a Christmas story involving Jane, Shaun, Smile and Katherine, which will be pretty deep.
After that we'll learn more about Smile.
None of these are going to be typical comic book or superhero fare. These are tragedies and will be treated as such.
You will want to read my Whateley Christmas story that will be posted on the Whateley home site a week before Christmas, or wait for it here two weeks after.
