I can understand why you will be triggered by the goings on in the US.
As a Brit, I am watching in distress and sadness for our sisters. We in the trans community are easy targets for intellectually challenged bigots ( you can interpret that as either the Orange Man, or JK Rowling, and her TERF buddies, or both if you prefer)
At least as a Canadian you have to assume that Trump won''t actually invade, just boast a lot about how he is going to. For one thing, your head of state the King would be mighty cross. I wouldn't want to be the wrong side of a man with a ceremonial sword and a kilt.

It's our (USA, mostly) problem, although it will undoubtedly splatter some onto other Sovereign Nations.
Mexico looks like it's first target. Of course if 47 wants to seal the border, Mexico can say "fine" and close their border. USA citizens can't cross back ... Commerce (both ways) shuts down ... Can't have Yanks sneaking in, in those trucks ... or Mexican produce sneaking out.
Hmm ... Haiti could use the money, as they become a transfer point.
