slowly but surely!
On the health front things haven't really changed much, potentially even worse than Monday. I still have the deafness related to the head congestion, which in turn is causing some minor and intermittent balance issues - i think its improving but as its inner ear there isn't any real intervention to be done. What has worsened is the moving of congestion downward onto my lungs, its not bad or even debilitating but there's nothing worse than a rattling chest and mouthfuls of phlegm, ye-uk!
That aside i have managed both another ride and to complete another new Gaby chapter. The ride on Tuesday was fairly benign, a loop down to Clevedon for a burger then back via Portishead and the lower Avon gorge. It was a cooler, greyer day, very autumnal in feel, i covered 78km without issue so that's all good, i might step things up next time out, take some sarnies and hit a few hills.
The writing hasn't been as fast as i like but that's in part due to the required research. All in all its been a full day's work to get another 2.8k words through the kb, i'm up to almost 7.5k for the three chapters so far completed. For Patreons the new writing is available now so pop on over and let me know what you think. I will be working on the next instalment on Friday so things are getting back into the groove, my plan is to have at least 6/7 chapters finished by the end of October with a projected completion of the whole book @ Gaby's birthday at the end of February 2026.
That's it for today more at the weekend, until next time,
Tak,
Madeline Anafrid
