is here, Hallowe'en is passed, the build up to Weihnachts and the neues Jahre is already starting to ramp up and i'm posting this a day late!

As i mentioned last week, i've spent a few days up in GOC arriving back in Brizzle somewhat later than expected last night, hence the late posting. It's been a chance to catch up with my bro, he struggles to boil a kettle so i've ended up doing some DIY projects for him - we even had to buy him some basic tools! As he wasn't working for the duration of my visit i didn't get the hoped for bike ride in, the weather hasn't been brilliant anyhow, bit windy and damp at times.

I have done a couple of 5/6km walks so i've been far from idle and we had a drive out into the Peak District to get some lunch on Saturday. Its probably not been great for the scales, takeaway pizza and Chinese featuring on the menu although there's not been a lot else other than copious cups of tea!

The big downer was the return trip, heading north, including a stop took 3.5h, the return journey was closer to 6h, the traffic was horrendous, never entirely stopped but heavy and often 40mph or less. It was only in the last hour of the journey that the traffic cleared a bit but the damage was done, by the time we were back at the house it was heading towards 21.00! Which is why i didn't post last night, i was tired and hadn't the energy to concentrate on anything.

I have now posted chapter Twenty of Balancing Trick for your delectation & delight so click on the title to read that. And of course i shall be pushing on with writing the new book, Changing Lives, the plan is to have the next 'short' book complete by about the middle of the month.
