A Small Protest cover.png

I wrote this story some time ago. Until now it was only available as an eBook from online retailers.

It was inspired by a very real protest in 2017. It was chronicled by instinctmagazine.com in their story titled: “Boys in Skirts Beat the Heat—and the System” and featured this photo.
Protest in skirts

I’ve taken literary license, and moved the local to the USA mainly because my Brittspeak is shaky at best, and I’d like to remain in good graces with my fans (both of them) across the pond.

The story is told first person by Lynne as he joins the protest when his friend, Frank Parsons, discovers a loophole in the dress code.

It comes in at just over 27K words and features an interactive Table of Contents that will let you read part of the story, leave and come back later and pick up where you left off. So don't be put off by the length.
