It is now about five weeks since I have had a razor or shaver near my face. I use the epilator when there is anything to harvest, it usually takes me about five or so minutes. I will remind you that I had electrolysis on my facial hair many years ago (but not my throat or top lip). A little has grown back but is much finer, as is much of the regrowth from the epilator and which I hope will continue to get finer through the epilation. It's like a slow waxing, which is purported to weaken hair growth over a number of treatments, epilation is claimed to do the same, and is in fact the same, tearing the hair from its follicles.
People are scared of epilation, but then people are scared of all sorts of things. There is no need to be, the more you do it the less pain is felt because the number of hairs decreases and unlike shaving the hair is finer at the tip rather than the blunt end caused by shaving. Even the top lip becomes less painful after a few goes, there are less hairs, and I can feel my neck softer under my jaw, something I never achieved by shaving. It is far quicker and far less painful than electrolysis and less tedious than plucking by tweezers.
So I am going to continue and wish I'd done it before. You make up your own mind.

Eyebrows
Maybe a different type of hair but after years of plucking between my brows that those hairs gave up! and have never come back. For my legs I gave up on cremes & lotions like Nair and Veet; I like the process of razor and shaving foam. Do what works, right?
