in any shape or form. Indeed, i'd go as far as to say i'm an increasingly worried bunny
Since i last wrote, things have gone somewhat awry of what i was expecting, to say the least. I started with a cold/flu after my last post on Wednesday, i've been on something of a rollercoaster of symptoms ever since so i've not been on the bike, been for a proper walk or been able to concentrate on writing. In fact simply completing a simple task has at times proven impossible and today i seem to have had something of a relapse. Yep, not a happy bunny at all.
And then there's the worrying actions and dictats coming from Russ and more alarmingly, from the home of BC. Please tell me that there are US citizens who will not blindly allow this ever more farcical and dangerous circus to continue? That said, clearly the backbone is lacking if what has already occurred has gone unquestioned and unanswered. One man has done more damage to world peace in 10 months than the rest of the world put together in 80 years, and this man is the 'leader' of the self proclaimed, land of the free? I really hope for everyone's sake that the witch hunts, lies and approbation of terror is arrested soon, my gut however, thinks it'll become worse long before it gets better. I hope all of you on the ground stateside remain safe.
On the plus side? Well i went a bit mad, the hair is a sort of raspberry pink (very Erdbeer!) and i've reinstated the piercings that i mentioned last time. I'm still getting used to the 'new' look in the mirror and waiting impatiently for the holes to settle enough to put in some more aesthetically pleasing jewellery than the oversize bars and balls that currently are in place! Of course, this is all in the name of research, i wouldn't ask any of my characters to do anything i wouldn't and it allows my characters to channel the reality of such things much better to you (i hope).
I have managed to drag myself out for a walk each day, we've not had the more extreme weather that has hit a lot of the UK the last few days and my longer term health issues are best treated with at least a short walk each day. Not as good as a decent ride but better than nothing. I shall go for just such a walk once i've finished this missive.
It's Sunday so of course there is new Gaby, the first of 2026, Chapter 29 of Balancing Trick.
So that's it for today, more midweek, but for now,
Tschuss,
Madeline Anafrid

Unfortunately, the one to
Unfortunately, the one to whom you refer has managed to get the Supreme Court of the US to give the President blanket immunity from prosecution. The most we can hope for is impeachment - which didn't work last time - or someone who formerly took an oath to defend the country from enemies, foreign and domestic, to act. We have too many veterans who don't believe that their oath to the Constitution actually matters. I feel strongly that if you take an oath, you need to take it seriously.
That said, Boris Yelts..Johnson did the UK no favours, nor have at least two of the last three French PMs (Not to mention Trudeau in Canada). Frankly, the current idiot is _still_ doing less damage to the US than Thatcher did to the UK - it's just that realistically, Thatcher had fewer people to attack.
At this point, I believe that most educated people understand that the guy at the top is out of control, and even the people that thought they were 'handling' him, aren't. Much like what happened before WW-II with the German industrialists. One saving grace here is that the guy IS old. Imagine if he was in his 40's.
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
