can only mean one thing - i've been out on the bike!
Yep, we've had more dodgy weather since the weekend, i've stayed dry but it's been dodging the wet until today.
I did get some Gaby writing finished on Monday which was good and i spent a chunk of yesterday putting some stuff on Ebay so time not wasted.
Today i managed to get out for a ride but not without issues that delayed my departure.
- first issue was a broken chain side plate on my current bike of choice - i could've sorted that but its due a new chain this week so temporarily its off the road
- I decided to use Foxy instead but she had a flat tyre, no problem, plenty of spare tubes but then my floor pump decided it wasn't going to put air in the new tube - grr
Finally got out only 30 minutes later than i'd hoped, first hour was getting used to the different handling of Foxy after 6 months on a big wheeler, then discovered the gears weren't working properly, nor the brakes - looks like she needs a full re-cable before my Birthday trip in 4 weeks time. Anyhoo, i got to the mucky burger bar for lunch then 'sped' back to Brizz, a very not hilly 70 odd kilometres but like i said, at least it was dry.
Tomorrow i'll crack on with some writing after the assorted chores.
