Notwithstanding Trump’s repeated lies about not getting the US involved in another endless war in the Middle East, he has now attacked Iran for a second time in conjunction with his buddy Netanyahu. This is obviously all about regime change, with the added advantage that it distracts voters from his domestic failures - not to mention the fact that his administration continues to bury multiple documents related to him and Epstein.
This morning I read that ahead of the decision to launch military strikes on Iran, the Trump administration on Friday formally designated Iran as a state sponsor of wrongful detention. The designation, announced by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, activates authorities created under an executive order signed in September that expanded the government's ability to penalize countries accused of detaining Americans for political bargaining power.
So here is my question……… wouldn’t this designation also apply to the Trump administration and ICE? In light of their wrongful detention of literally thousands of people in this country without due process, wouldn’t the Trump administration also qualify under this executive order? Are they not detaining people for political bargaining power??
To anyone who may be in that part of the world, or have friends and family there….. having spent my fair share of time in combat, and having seen the devastation which nations have wrought upon their fellows, my thoughts this day will be with those in peril. For only those who have lived through hell truly know its horrors, only those who have dealt mass destruction can truly know its effects.

It would be laughable, 'The President of Peace' attacks yet another country. Let's hope that this does not spiral into a world war.
As Dallas says, this action is just a diversion from 'Epsteingate' and other domestic problems. I'll bet there is no Plan B thought through about the consequences.

Trump was recorded saying, “Our president will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate. He’s weak and he’s ineffective. So the only way he figures that he’s going to get re-elected, and as sure as you’re sitting there, is to start a war with Iran.”
Isn’t it ironic how fifteen years ago he accurately described himself? The only difference is that it isn’t so much his own re-election he is pushing right now, as it is Republican candidates in the mid-term elections coming up this year. Not to mention distracting everyone from the Epstein files, the ongoing affordability issues, higher costs for electricity and healthcare and groceries, the ongoing protests about ICE and his immigration crackdown, etc., etc., etc.

Conventions of War
One of the conventions of war has been that you do not explicitly target government leaders.
Now that Trump has broken that convention, he cannot, but will, complain when other countries attempt to return the favor.
By the way there are currently reports of three US troops having been killed in this fiasco.

and who were the tough political negotiators Trump sent to get the Iranians to cow tow to the USA? Steve Witcoff and Jared Kuchner - both of whom are in the real estate industry. So it was all about what Trump could get for his buddies from a 'we'll rebuild your country' demand. Remember Trump's plan for Gaza? Make it a resort for the Israelis - complete with a Trump Hotel - and ignore the fact that is was actually the homeland for millions of Palestinians. Even now Israel continues to demolish buildings in Gaza - saying it is to try and find Hizbolah activists, but really it is to prepare ground zero for a nice new jewish future, Thats why they are adding Israeli settlements in the West Bank which Palestinians have farmed for generations, squeezing out the rightful population from their homeland. Trump is lining his pocket and those of his triends as part of US Foreign Policy. He wants to see Russia win their Ukrainian invasion so that he can negotiate deals with Putin. He bombed Venezuela to get their oil, he wants Greenland for its minerals, made more accessible due to global warming thawing the rocks. His State Of The Onion speach was all about self agrandisment, not what his party has done for the nation or even his appointees. Just me me me me - and most of is claims were lies. Gas at $1.99? Only in 4 garages in Oklahoma - the other 15000 across the states charge more but he doesn;t say that! Someone within the GOP HAS to step up to the plate and say 'enough lies' or the people will vote Democrat for generations to come to ensure America never again suffers from Trumpain rhetoric. Frankly, I want to see the Epstein paper that damns Donald - I'm sure its there and he is just suppressing it.
