to the week!
So on Monday, after getting the chores out of the way, i settled down to write and completed another chapter for Gaby - Changing Lives. I think it came out well, Patreon's can of course read the first draft already.
The forecast for Tuesday looked okay-ish, bit of wind off the Brizzle Channel so i made my sandwiches and set off on a decent loop through the Chew valley to reach a very blustery Weston s M. Yep, the esplanade was not ideal for a stop, without the wind it would've been quite nice but wind chill kept things well below double figures. On the plus side, most of the return leg did have some sort of tailwind assistance, 116km, 788m, not a bad day despite the coolness!
And so to today. A walk down to the Swedish shop for a late breakfast then back via a couple of bike stores (just looking at what i can't afford!) then back to writing. Or not, well eventually. The good news, i did start the next chapter, the bad news, i only got half of it written. Oh well, best laid plans and all that.
I'm just grateful that it didn't snow down here, i'm reliably informed there was snow falling across the South Pennines most of the day!
Not sure where i'm headed yet but the weather for tomorrow looks like we should be in double figures just about so maybe another decentish ride? Similarly on Saturday but a greyer day on Friday will see me at the keyboard for most of the day. Don't forget that Saturday is when Europe changes its clocks to 'summertime', i may just sleep through that!
That's it for now, back with the conclusion to Gaby Book 28 on Sunday but for now,
Tschussie!

Wednesday weather
I was on a Zoom call with a bunch of other writers in the afternoon. One reported Snow in Capel, Surrey. At the same time, I was watching a hailstorm and another one in Chertsey said that it was raining hard but very cold and windy. Then, within a few minutes, the sun came out.
Yesterday, it was all change. I was working in the garden (tidying the fruit cage) without a jacket.
Off to Minehead to take a few photos tomorrow. The forecast is for a cold N.W. wind gusting to 18mph.
Just a normal week in springtime.

i'm off into the Cotswolds, Tetbury way i think
maybe i'll get a helping push on the way back, at least it should be sunny and close to double digits!
Guessing you are going to the WSR, there's not much else in Minehead after all! Have a good day.
