of 2026 gone already!

This year seems to be zipping by for some reason, so fast i'm afraid i'll miss some of it!

So lets start by catching up this week. First thing, if you haven't already seen, is that the next Gaby instalment has made it to Amazon Kindle, clicking on the pic will take you directly there if that is your want.

Now all i need to do is write some more - i'll aim to make a start before this week is out.

The big thing on Monday was taking Aunty Bev to Avebury, to tick a line from her bucket list. It was a lovely day, the henge and stones resplendent in the sunshine. After a cuppa we embarked on a short archaeological 'safari' taking in more of the Avebury Unesco landscape, the sanctuary, a C17th chalk horse and memorial, a wide range of WW2 pill boxes of different designs and materials before heading back via Lacock Abbey. Yep, a nice day indeed.

The weather turned cool and grey for Tuesday so i ended up with a short, 50km ride exploring more of Bristol's less known streets. And today, well the sun has returned but a strong, cold wind has tempered things, i took myself for a 6km walk before picking up some groceries.

Not certain what the rest of the week will bring but it is tea and bun Sunday so forgive me if i post a little late on Sunday.
