Fell in the kitchen and gashed my right arm on the oven door. I'm okay, just knocked a big flap of skin loose over my elbow. Got it taped and bandaged at urgent care. I'll be fine in six or ten days, and it shouldn't affect anything here.
Hugs,
Joyce

Ouch!
Sympathies, Erin, I know exactly how that feels. Take care and recover quickly.
Take it easy, Erin

Got the bloody T-shirt,
I've got "old people's skin." Any little encounter with a solid object the has an edge can leave my arm with a sizeable piece of skin torn back and a bleeding wound.

Fortunately
I have pretty thick skin, possibly from running this site for 25 years. :) I'm okay and better off than some people ten years younger than me would be. My worry was that I'm on blood thinners but the blood didn't even pool or leave the wound site.
Hugs,
Erin

I was
On blood thinners for a while - seemed to have the opposite effect for me, one reason I stopped taking them.
Take care of yourself, any fall should be seen as a warning to take things a bit slower.
