It’s been three years since Daring Diane published her last Cheerleader book, and I am seriously jonesing for the next book in the series.
The last book left us waiting to see what happened with Lee’s latest innovations in competition cheerleading, the sorority, baseball - both the college team and the Detroit Tigers, Lee’s newly found grandmother and her family business, the National Cheerleading Association, and of course the relationship between Lee and Darby. So many unfinished plot lines - not all of which I have included here!
In my previous communications with Daring Diane, she stated that she was in fact working on the next book - but it has been a long time since the last one, and a long time since she told me that.
Perhaps we can offer her some encouragement to find the time to continue this wonderful series?

I can't wait to see what happens next.
Of course, I already know 95% of what happens in 14, and I'm expecting the adventures in 15 and 16.
I've just had trouble getting that last portion and cleanup done.
It may seem pathetic, but I just can't seem to finish this book.
Maybe I can find some time this weekend. to make more solid progress.
I find myself re-editing the portions that are done and not filling in the blanks.
Thanks for the note and I'll try to take it as a jab in the ribs to get 14 finished.
