make it up!

As i mentioned last time, i ordered the (hopefully) last parts to get my bike back up and running on Thursday last week. They were despatched on a 48 hour service Friday and arrived, well they didn't, not until last night. As you might imagine, i was getting a bit frustrated but was elated when the parcel was dropped off, except when i excitedly opened it, it wasn't what i ordered! So instead of working on fixing the bike this morning i'm returning the parcel and the ordered part may reach me on Saturday, possibly, maybe - talk about frustrating.

The knock on effect is that i still can't get in the rides i need for my Everesting challenge, i'm currently in need of 7500 more metres to hit the target. I did get in a ride yesterday but 20km around Brizzle really doesn't cut the mustard.

In better news, i finished and posted to Patreon, the next Gaby chapter on Monday, that was #52 of this arc, i'll be cracking on with more today once i've been to the PO with that damned parcel.

So that's my week so far, there is a fruit crumble (homegrown rhubarb, cherries and plums) waiting for later, might have to get some salad as its turning warm again this week. I have meals planned but the heat kills my appetite for much more than snacks.
