I also suggested that there be a big meeting to discus the Brand situation and how to protect the school now that he has used students against Mercy. Perhaps a way to dampen his psychic abilities so he has to get closer to Mercy to attack her thus causing another trap to be sprung on him?

Or what about a training chapter where she is forced to focus on learning to master her abilities so she is able to combat Brand despite her desire to help or redeem him? He has shown his hand and what he is willing to do to hurt her, it's high time that she is forced to train to fight back even if it goes against her inner self
