The truth is you've had a very traumatic past. Things have not gone smoothly for you from the time you were young. The only way you are luckier is that you have a support group that accepts who you are. Granted that's a big thing. But still life is not easy for you. You have nothing to feel guilty about. You deal with things I can't even imagine. And yet you go on living.
I should feel guilty about my luck. I have blessings I didn't earn. I've made it to retirement and will likely live modestly, but comfortably the rest of my life. So many others, my trans sisters and people in general, aren't so lucky. You have nothing to feel guilty about.
Spend some quality time in prayer. Turn on so praise music and worship God. Remember, "Come near to God and he will come near to you." James 4:8a
We love you and so does God.

A day late and a dollar short
Hi Dot, Can I call you Dot? I had a close friend growing up who was called Dot. Anyway. Hi. How are you today. Yes I'm a day late and I suspect that I'm still a dollar short. In the calamity you are in and with the layer of miasma that COVID-19 and the political climate. It's not hard to find the place where dysphoira and guilt fill our mind. Hugs are needed and so in the proper CDC recommended way. Today you get all my hugs.
