We got approval for an apartment downtown, with official take possession date of June 1st.

Been there, done that, got the tee shirt
The last time I moved, I took five trips to the dump and seven to Goodwill (charity shop) before we managed to get the junk down to what would fit in the largest truck we could rent for the move. Luckily, before I retired, I was a truck driver. The big rigs, so a 26' moving van was a piece of cake to handle for the thirty-eight mile trip.
