The genre of these stories that I write are mystery. And so that I represent, my investigator and maybe the victim are transgendered people. And just to add a bit more uniqueness, the start of each novel involves a pinch of fantasy, so that the ordinary becomes extraordinary. The main story is the mystery solved by a transgendered protagonist, but the fantasy is in the background so that the unexpected can happen at any time. And as they say in the mystery classics, "The game's afoot." And so it begins.
