A good story, but needs polishing.
"you're" means you are, please use the possive "your".
"sole is the bottom of your shoe, "soul" is what goes to heaven or hell.
"heal" means to get well, "heel" is the tall end of a shoe.
"their" is a possive that implies ownership,
don't confuse it with "there".
"heart and soul" and "happy as a lark" are cliches, please avoid them.
Loved the story any way.
