We are revisting our heroine's nasty father from his perspective

I remember his daughter taking pitty on him and changing him back. The father seemed mostly unrepentant despite having been turned into a girl due to his attasck on their chid and on the wife/mother.

So he is following in the classic path of multigenerational bullying/child abusers.

The question is, will he eventually learn from this, and learn that love is what matters and not power is everything? And what of the grandfather, still alive? Or his parents who appantly were good but let the grandfather beat him, unless they never knew?
