Easy As Falling Off A Bike part 1579
Was that Stella or Caroline who dropped off the key?
May Your Light Forever Shine
May Your Light Forever Shine
Oh Dear!
That's two people who've deliberately or accidentally misconstrued Cathy's generosity. Cathy usually operates on a short fuse; with Stella's unhelpful attitude, I can see an explosion taking place in the Cathy department very shortly.
Be careful Cameron clan, and engage brain before opening gob.
BTW I think you'll find that it's Caroline whose key hit the table rather hard.

I Think I see a Morality Tale Here
I think we're seeing a metaphore for the social wrongs in today's society. So who's fault is it. I think Cathy has the right idea, however, when things become too easy, people want them to stay that way. Caroline's a bitch.
Portia
Portia
looks like
Looks like everything is about to change in the demographics of Cathy's household, what will they all do if Cathy decides to to move to one of her other houses?.

Just One Of Those Days...
...where chaos reigns, everything dissolves into a misunderstanding, and you can't stop people from shooting themselves in the foot.
There's absolutely nothing you can do but ride out the storm and wait for tomorrow.

Such foolishness!
Let's hope...
...that when Caroline explains the situation to Jenny, Jenny tries to talk some sense into her - especially since Jenny herself has had very painful experience of turning her back on the Cameron household hospitality, finding things going South very quickly, and amazingly finding herself accepted back into the family. After all, like Jenny, Caroline was brought into the household primarily to help out. Until Jenny's fully recovered they'll effectively have no income whatsoever, and even disregarding Caroline's unique situation, (a) the jobs market is pretty flat at the moment, with some reports suggesting up to 28 people chasing each job, and (b) any jobs she did find would almost certainly be very inflexible; whereas Cathy's offering a decent wage and flexible hours.
In a way, Caroline's acting like a lovestruck teenager, wanting to be around her love 24/7 without any regard to the feelings of others. Julie's not quite that bad yet, while Stella just wants to have the easy life (possibly temporarily forgetting she's got two of her own - Caroline probably wouldn't be much more trouble than Fiona, who's slightly younger than her youngest).
Meanwhile, it seems to be a relatively frequent occurence in the household for someone to storm off, only to return when they've got into trouble or realise the big wide world isn't as forgiving as they think it will be. Let's just hope Caroline successfully makes it to Southampton - family members rarely storm off in a huff without getting into some form of trouble...
There are 10 kinds of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who don't...
As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!
You can't win em' all.
Sometimes you can be wrong about a person and this time Cathy'a got it wrong. Good riddance to Caroline.
Still 9 out of 10 aint'so bad. I'm lucky if I get 1 right out of 10 but I've learned to always take things painfully slowly with people. That way one stands less chance of being hurt.
Nice to read a chapter with a different timbre to it.
Thanks Angie.
Love and hugs,
Beverly.
Growing Old Disgracefully
Personally I throw my hat in with the good riddance crowd
Caroline is stupid to give up a easy situation to transition in. Also that means Jenny won't be staying either and probably will be staying with Caroline. Or maybe Caroline will revert and he will become the provider again. *shrug*, one less tranny who is making a hash of their transition due to a relationship, I've heard innumerable number of those.

Sad but if this is the true
Caroline, then Cathy is better off without her. Not at all reliable and a classic example of "give them and inch and they'll take a mile." I hope Cathy doesn't feel bad about this one. She didn't do anything wrong.
Julie is being a classic teenager.
Stella is Stella, nuff said.
1579
Looks like another spolied kid that doesn't realize how well off they are until they don't get their way. Maybe a couple. And Stella needs her butt kicked anyway. She has two kids and lives like a queen with no contributions unless they are forced. Spoiled, spoiled, rotten. Everyone just expects so much w/o doing anything for it. Or is that a commentary on society today.
Stay tuned
Will Jenny set Caroline's head straight about who gets paid for what?
Will some ancient deity send word that, even after Cathy has been given the power to keep her at a distance, can make her life hell on Earth?
Will Stella remember who was there for her when she needed someone?
Will Julie and Tash add to the burden or find time to help out?
Will Cathy be able to go back to teaching?
Will there be more dormice in The Daily Dormouse?
Stay tuned and find out.
Cathy is discovering the joys
of having money. Everyone wants to live off your gravy train.
Wow
talk about entitled, Caroline somehow feels Cathy has to spend the money to convert the shed to housing and then put both her and Jenny up? I don't know what in the world she was truly expecting to happen.
