I can attest that females do like pretty/sexy clothing, whether or not guys will be seeing them. (I'm only one of four in the house, the other three have been recognized as female since birth, and they all enjoy their pretty stuff.) The youngest (18) wears the most revealing, but she's also got the figure to pull it off.

And, I can also attest that women wearing pretty clothing, even revealing clothing are NOT doing it to INVITE guys attention... *sighs* Sadly, many interpret it that way, even when told otherwise. :-(

Thanks for another episode with food for thought. Perhaps appropriate as you cross yet another milestone (2,500th episode).

The doubts we all have

The last few days of Danni thrashing about, and Cathy wringing her hands has been very good for me because I have been doing something similar to Danni.

It has become clear to me that the only reason that I'd flip flop would be to satisfy my family, and it has become clear there is nothing I can do to gain that.

Poor Danni. Is her present enthusiasm for the game changing her mind? There seems to be little enthusiasm in human culture for Eunuchs, save the Ottomans. I think it is society that causes T ism. If we were more open about gender roles, then one could be more fluid and find their own identity. That is what the Manda of Southern Iraq did. It is actually all through the Middle East and India, this messing about with gender. I am speaking of culture, not religion. Damn the early fundamentalists for stirring all this up.

So, will Danni playing for England put her mind off her present struggles? I'm afraid that I can not remember her age. 10,12,13?

Well in American culture we are seeing more positive news about T folk. If the publicity seekers would just wonder off somewhere and let those of us who are serious work out what normal is for us?

What a truly amazing milestone you have created--2500 parts (chapters) to a most wonderful and sweet story; and think it all started with a 20 something bike rider being knocked off the bike in the rain. In many ways, we have become unseen, unheard members of Cathy and Simon's very special and extended family over these past years and can only hope that there may be more too come.

After your earlier remarks that you were wondering if you should continue or not - I was concerned that number 2500 was to be the last only to feel that you may just have a few more twists to play upon our minds so as to maybe get to 2550 or so before you wind us up to see if we can support more of this most engaging saga.

Certainly I would hope to shuffle off this mortal coil before you complete relating the Cameron's universe. To say that I could not stand to see the end of this saga would be an understatement. I will extend my interest long enough to outlast your ability to continue writing whether through lack of ideas or otherwise. As I kneel before your magnificent prose, I bow in reverence to your wit and imagination along with the ever present wisdom. THANK YOU!!!

At roughly 3,000,000 words, or 1200*2500= , Bike seems to be larger than the stated word count of Wikipedia at 2.7 million words. Bravo !!!

Amazing number

Angharad I wager you had no such milestone in mind when you started this tale. The only number I can think of that would better this is 2501.
Danni is such a handwringing, hairpulling worry at the moment, it's a wonder Cathy isn't finding grey hairs.

Wow, what can I say that will come anywhere near enough to convey the amazing story you have written.

From it's early days when you wrote it direct to the site ' as an experiment' so you said, to today some seven years later, with a saga to end all sagas. Is it really in excess of three million words.

I will continue to read as long as you are willing to write.

First of all

i have to offer congratulations to Angharad, I would bet when she started this wonderful story she would never have envisaged it reaching 2500 episodes, Thank you so much for all your hard work Angharad in keeping us all entertained , I for one really appreciate it.

Danni is certainly proving to be a puzzle , What seemed right yesterday does not seem right today, As i said the other day poor Cathy its been really hard on her .... Mind you its amazing what effect a soccer talent scout can have on our sometimes reluctant girl , Its almost a shame it cannot be bottled, Perhaps though Danni should think on , As a girl he is considered an England possibilty, Would the same be true if he had remained a boy ?
