yeah... this is certainly
yeah... this is certainly interesting. I wonder where this story is playing. I mean it seems to be somewhere in america with european conquistadores. It's not north america - I think. And not middle america either, or they ought to have mentioned the local civilisations.
I guess it is somewhere in the amzon rain forest, but I'm not too sure.
I have my doubts Leia will be able to save them - history proved otherwise, but maybe those old ones can somehow save them.

A diet of rabbit only will kill you - it leeches vit C from your system and you die! Glad you added fish. You could also have added root veggies and dandelions.
Good story,with historically correct gender roles.
I think this is more likely to be a New Mexico tribe, like Anasazi, as women were not held in high esteem in Aztec or Mayan 'warrior' cultures. Also there are precious few open plains in South America.
Rabbits weren't introduced into South America until recently.
