Her life changed for the better over the months that followed as she focused on her goals of being the best version of herself possible, while trying to help others to the best of her ability. The connection that they shared grew to the point where they no longer doubted that they would one day be together forever.
I had decided this morning that I would at least spare myself any tears this evening; oh well, that went out the window, but it's all just fine with me (sigh). Thank you for happy tears.

Okay, so I decided to leave a comment anyway
Very sweet, you've captured the longing of a young girl's heart. I loved the constant, quiet longing building through the story. This could have ended soooo wrong, one of them could have not been able to make it. The constant building of their relationship, the trust your characters shared, knowing their future together was insured, it all came together in one large box of kleenex in the last couple of lines.
The next story of yours I read I will be sure the box of tissues is at hand. No more wet soppy mess on my shirt!
