What in the hell is she? Great to see that from Nat's point of view

they went over that in bloodlines, her healing is from her witch heritage.

Bloodlines
Amethyst's also writing Bloodlines, which tells Kayla's story (including details of her transformation, trip to Sena Island, and discovery of her gifts - hers is more complicated than most). It's still being written and published; the latest chapter of that tale is a few weeks ahead of the events described here.
As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!
Odd thought
Still think that she should have licked the open wound to close it with her vampire ability. But, their could be several reasons she didn't, she just didn't think of it or it only works on small wounds like their bite. It is nice to see the two stories getting in sync.
One thing for sure
and certain, being one of the Unseen means NEVER being bored. What is Kayla's vampire talent?

Vampire ability
Kayla's talent is to be able to change the color of her eyes. Similar in fashion to Joline's ability to change her hair color. If you are not sure who Joline is, she is a Vampire presently residing in the DBZ house and is in Carmilla's line.

Faster than a speeding train, can fix broken bones with her bare hands, who disguised as a mild manored hot goth chick is none other than Super Kayla! LOL. So I guess she's got another ability(luck for sarah). Amethyst, nice chapter hon. (Hugs) Taarpa
