Sounds like....
..... things are goin' to get real interesting soon at the new park. I Iike how things are progressing there and with the story as well as the people Tessa is hiring for her playground sound like a true cast of characters that fit right in there. Kudos!
Interesting
There seems to be some very nice change of pace going on here, but I bet there is something to come from the councilman and his wifes Divorce/Remarry that Tessa will use or help with.
Charolotte

Charlotte Van Goethem
I giggled at this
"They've remarried and divorced each other seven times now. Right?" That was an awesome extra touch.
Another Wonderful Chapter!
Looks like Tessa is moving right along with getting things in order with the park and in her transition . Looks like Nicole will be an interesting character when she finally takes her place at the park? It's amazing that lives keep getting better for all the people that Tessa comes across . That couple who keeps marrying and divorcing sound like they should just live together until one gets tired of the other and then they could just leave ! It would certainly be cheaper than divorcing 11 times ! LOL!
This sounds very much like a
This sounds very much like a place most people would definitely want to work in and at. Waiting now to see who Tessa hires on next. Each person she hires does seem to bring along their very own special life and background history, that in itself is also interesting to learn about in the story.
I just hope that Tessa does not by accident hire someone who will later try to mess over her and the park.

Like them Cajins
This is quite a story so far, Ms Snowfall. When are we going to see some love interest for our Queen Tessa? Don't seem fair that she's looking after everyone, transitioning, working like a dog and not get some feel goods. Yes, I know bubble baths feel good, but I'd like to see a snuggle or two. Giggles...
Thanks for sharing your story.

Loving this story thus far
Something tells me that Nicole will find herself with a wonderful new home and job. VentureRealms continues to grow and develop.
"Princess number one. Maybe."
nice!
Keep it as Is
As long as Tessa keeps the park "as is" it has a chance to remain a desirable place to live and work. I believe most places that are very popular start out much in the same manner. People looking to make a difference, as well as bring a bit of sunshine into the world. Somewhere along the way it becomes a Corporate Nightmare, and the Care people once felt and gave dissipates.
Once the Queen becomes elderly, she'll have to make sure that the New Queen (or King) will be someone who wont let it go into that corporate mindset.
Lookin' forward to next week.
Strays
Tessa seems to have a talent for picking up strays and letting them shine.
As I understand it, he looked
That's what a good leader is.
There was a guy like that on the USS FItzgerald (DDG 62) which collided with a container ship on 17 June 2017. Saved twenty shipmates, lost his bet going back for more.
And there was a guy like that on Air Florida 90 when it crashed into a bridge on the Potomac River.
To good to be true
From Dave to Zeke, and now maybe Nichole, everyone has had the "it's hard to believe" how serious Tessa is about what she wants done and that she's offering the kind on employment unheard of before.
Everyone so far has had a chance at a better life, to do better than better, or a job when no one else would touch them. The crews doing the work have been treated for the first time in their careers like human beings who've done a wonderful job.
Anyone with baggage has been told up front that they are being given a second chance, that she only requires them to not let her down. Then she sets them up with housing and whatever else they need to get started.
Tessa did not start out to make a name for herself, she just wanted to rebuild the amusement park. But she has made a name for herself just by how she treats those she employees.
Others have feelings too.
Been there.
My name change went like that. I sat in the court room for an hour and a half while the judge had the attorneys for a bitter divorce in chambers. He came out with a scowl on his face looking down all the way to the bench. He looked at the papers I had filed and said they looked in order. He looked up and said, "I see no one is here to object, so ordered." At that he got up and stormed out. I sat there, shaken. After all the possibilities that went through my head, this was such a let down. Is that all there is? I was too shocked to celebrate until the next day.
Not so much Subjects but Musketeers
One for all and all for one! Muskehounds are always ready!
Already we've got the beginnings of a community, and while pleasing Queen Tessa (at least partially to bask in the resulting adulation she sends back in the form of bonuses of a job well done) is a significant part of their motivation, I imagine as the community develops - with its collection of socital outcasts and misfits, they'll also look out for each other with a similar level of devotion.
As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!
