Honorary woman
Good food always helps

giggles. I got to be a honorary girl in high school, so I know how big a deal that is!
It is a true first step,
It is a true first step, however I do believe that Chef and his two helpers will eventually win over all the women at the Shelter. They are a good trio who may prove that all men are not the same and some can indeed be true friends to women who have been abused and hurt during their lives.
I'm sorry the Girls
Video didn't get the reaction they were looking for. But at least the got an A+ out of it. The Legion will love it & WILL have a good reaction to it. As for blackie I think he does have a girl friend but definitely friendly. I hope Rachel does well at the races.

has the inside track with Robert, especially with sister Lisa threatening mayhem if he breaks up with Rachael. I laughed a lot at that.

As expected.
Chef's doing important work. So are the girls, even if their classmates may not acknowledge it as much as expected. They still got the A+, so there's only so much they really have to complain about. The Legion will love it.

I am saddened that the end of this terrific story is now not far away.

Those poor abused women. It's so sad to see how people can treat each other, and how much that hurt sinks in. And that gets passed down to the next generation.
The kids, both boys and girls, need a male role model as well as a female role model. Fortunately, Chef and his helpers are giving them good ones.
Who knows? Maybe some of the women will heal enough to fall for some of the good men.
Still undercover
The gift Rachel has been given works on humans and animals, which may be part of the reason she befriends so many easily. The other reason is that she truly cares.
To many believe it's necessary to show animals whose boss, and treat the cruelly. But not Rachel, not with the gift she received. She communicates directly, reassuring the horses she is their friend and means them no harm.
Chef has done the same at the woman's shelter only with food. And his gentle nature. His work is more important because of the trauma the women suffered at the hands of a bunch of pigs who thought themselves the male of the species. Those woman saw the dregs of males, and fear men rightly so. Hopefully Chef and his helpers can help change the women's preceptions over time.
Others have feelings too.
