Has decided to go at least mostly legit, although perhaps the games are still a little crooked based on the charity event - not to mention the fact that they didn’t really give half of the profit to charity.

Elizabeth took a huge risk telling Jake about herself and what she was doing; hopefully she was right about him. On the surface, he seems to be a fairly decent guy and not so much into doing things the way Gloria and Morrie do. It sounds like Gloria may have a hard time of things with Charley, but based on the way she runs her establishment and her attitude at times, she may just be a more acceptable version of Charley. It wouldn’t surprise me if she and Morrie simply got rid of Charley to increase their cut of the profits, clear the way for them to be together, and perhaps a little vindictiveness on Gloria’s part as well.

Black Widow might very well be a good nickname for Gloria. She may be the evil mastermind behind everything now, and simply using Morrie as her heavy. I could see her letting Morrie do the dirty work for her, and also letting him take the fall should it be necessary. Jake may be the patsy should it be necessary, but he could also be kept as the face of the operation now - especially since having Elizabeth with him makes him imminently more acceptable socially.

The question now though is just what happens now that Woodsy has grabbed Elizabeth off the street? As she told Jake, who knows who she could even go to with her information as the police force seems to be riddled with corruption. Who knows if she should even have trusted Jake? Just how deep and widespread is this dung heap?
