If anyone wonders about my politics...
That Ain't Right
by Joyce Melton
Some people think they’re better than someone else
Some people think a lot about themselfs
Some people believe things that they hadn’t ought
Some of them learned things they ain’t been taught
And that ain’t right
Think of others before you think of yourself
What would you do if you were someone else?
The golden rule ain’t what you might suppose
That someone’s worth measures what they owes
It ain’t enough to treat everyone the same
It ain’t about finding out who’s to blame
‘Cause that ain’t right
Life ain’t no game, so stop keeping score
Don’t anyone know what life is even for?
You got a right to your own opinion
But you been wrong from the very beginion.
What kind of world have you been making?
More giving and less of your taking!
‘Cause that ain’t right.
Think of others before you think of yourself
What you would do if you were someone else?
God is the good you can do in this world
And love, love is like you found a pearl.
To make a better world is the plan
Goin’ through life just doin’ what you can.
And you can make it right!

I like the version over on suno.
I like the version over on suno. Well mixed and put together.
The whole thing is masterful but the keystone for me "God is the good you can do in this world."
Thanks for putting this here.

Thanks!
I kind of like rhyming opinion with beginion. Every deadly serious poem needs a spark of goofiness. :)
