To watch the Men’s Ice Hockey Gold Medal game if the US team makes it that far, as well as the closing ceremonies. Vance has already attended the opening ceremony and various venues; he was booed at the opening ceremony as well as while watching luge. Plus, apparently Kash Patel decided to attend a few ice hockey games as well. Patel, whose use of a government jet has frequently come under scrutiny, flew on a Justice Department plane Thursday to Italy with plans to attend the Olympic hockey medal rounds, according to public data and sources familiar with the matter.

There are several items of import here.

First, Patel has already been called out for his personal use of government jets to attend concerts, as well as go clubbing. It should be noted that any non work related use of government transportation is supposed to come out of his pocket. At this point, he owes the US government literally millions of dollars for his use of justice department aircraft.

Second, isn’t it rather obvious that the Misogynist in Charge, Trump, couldn’t care less about the US Women’s Ice Hockey team which just won a gold medal. After all, he and his group only have a few uses for women - and ice hockey isn’t one of them.

Third, since Matthew Tkachuk, who met Trump when the Florida Panthers visited the White House after winning the Stanley Cup, is a big Trump supporter, this will give him another chance to kiss the Big Orange Ass.

Fourth, after all the nasty comments which Trump and his MAGA brothers have made about certain Olympians who spoke out about their lack of support for specific things Trump’s government is doing, if I were a member of team USA, I would absolutely NOT want him, Vince, or Patel to show up at my competition.

And fifth, just how much money is the Trump administration going to waste flying separate planes to Italy in order to watch hockey games? Keeping in mind that when the president travels, Air Force One is not the only plane involved; there is an E-4 which always follows Air Force One, and also the Air Force transports all of the presidential and Secret Service vehicles, and often they also transport Marine Corps helicopters. Depending on where they are flying to, they also often fly in all of the fuel used as well. A simple trip from Washington DC to Mar a Lago and back costs over $1,000,000. Want to guess what we are paying to fly Trump and his retinue, Vance and his retinue, and Patel, all separately to Italy and back?

Maybe we should just leave them all over there……..
