has been a significant element so far this week.

And i've not really been all that productive if i'm brutally honest. The main thing about Monday was doing the check-in business for my trip at the end of the month, oh and worry about how f'd up the Bank Holiday can put my banking.

Tuesday started a bit damp but i was keen to get a ride in so, albeit a bit later than i'd hoped, i set off for points coastward. It turned out pretty nice if a bit windy, although it was a mere 88km when i stopped. The bank actually managed not to screw things up too badly so that was good.

And so to today. The wind is still gusting 20 and bringing in sometimes quite intense squalls but my trip to the Swedish store worked out to be mostly between the wet bits. It was a trip, not just for the excellent and cheap breakfast but i needed a new pan for cooking bolognese / paella / risotto etc - the old one having developed issues that leaves it unsuitable. So now i'm twenty squids lighter of wallet and owner of a bigger, deeper pan for the cooking of Mediterranean fuds, the old one will still do frying duties, at least for now.

By the time i'd added some fud shopping to the mix, well i've not yet put pen to paper this week but will do so on the morrow. What i have done is book my transport up to GOC, my bro has sorted everything else so pretty much i just need to pack and get a bit of currency to take.

As for the rest of the week - writing tomorrow and Saturday, ride to Chepstow on Friday and its that time of the month for the bun fest on Sunday so my post may be a bit later again.
