9.
Clara recovered quickly. "Oh my God, I knew it!" She practically squealed.
Jenna froze, her heart hammering against her ribs. For a split second, the sheer panic of being discovered surged, but as she looked at Clara, she realized there was no judgment in her sister's eyes. Instead, there was a shimmering, intense excitement. Clara didn't look at her with the disgust Arthur harbored or the clinical detachment Meredith employed. She looked at Jenna as if she had finally found the missing piece of a very glamorous puzzle.
Clara looked like she wanted to hug her but was obviously holding back.
Jenna, realizing the awkwardness, quickly moved the dress up to cover her chest. "Could you...umm..."
It clicked with Clara a second later and the older sister bolted from the changing room.
Jenna let out a long sigh.
The silence of the dressing room felt heavier than the clothes she had been trying on. She didn't move for a moment, staring at the spot where Clara had been standing. The secret was out, at least with one person. It was a terrifying thought, yet there was a strange, humming relief in not having to hide her silhouette for a few minutes. She looked down at the yellow dress, then back at herself in the mirror.
She made up her mind quickly and pulled the dress over her head.
In the mirror, there was no sign of Jason left.
The yellow fabric of the sun dress clung to her slender frame, the hem resting high on her thighs and the neckline framing her delicate collarbones. With her chest no longer compressed, the dress draped with a natural, feminine grace that turned the garment from a piece of clothing into a statement. Jenna looked at her reflection and saw not a boy in a dress, but a girl of breathtaking beauty. Her soft features, the curve of her jaw, and the gentle light in her eyes coalesced into a vision of effortless elegance.
Without a bra felt awkward but at least she wasn't compressed anymore.
A moment later, there was another light knock on the door.
"Sis?" Clara's voice was soft on the other side.
Jenna took a deep breath and slowly opened the door. She didn't try to hide herself this time, standing tall in the yellow fabric that flowed around her slender frame. The harsh fluorescent lighting of the dressing room usually stripped the glamour from any garment, but on Jenna, it seemed to glow. The dress highlighted her delicate collarbones and the graceful line of her hips, erasing the last vestiges of the "little brother" facade she had maintained since arriving at the estate.
Clara stepped back into the cubicle, her eyes widening as she took in the full picture. The playful, chaotic energy that usually defined her vanished, replaced by a soft, genuine smile of admiration. She didn't ask questions or demand explanations. Instead, she reached out and gently straightened the hem of the dress, her gaze lingering on Jenna's face. "You're absolutely breathtaking," Clara whispered, her voice devoid of its usual theatricality. "I knew there was something hidden under those oversized clothes, but this... this is something else entirely."
"You're the one that picked out the dress" Jenna said softly, not hiding her voice any longer.
Clara stepped closer. 'Its not just the dress, its...everything" She paused. "Jason, this is..."
"Jenna" she said softly, turning to her sister. "My name is actually Jenna."
Clara’s face transformed. The shock vanished, replaced by an expression of pure, unadulterated delight. She didn't ask how or why, and she didn't demand a medical explanation. To Clara, this was simply the most exciting thing to happen in the Whitmore household in a decade. She reached out, gripping Jenna’s hands with a sudden, fierce intensity. "You are a thousand times more interesting than the rest of this family combined," she whispered. "And you look stunning. We have to do your hair, your makeup, everything. We can't let that face go to waste."
Jenna smiled, genuinely for the first time. "Actually, I think we need to talk first."
Clara nodded. The two of them left the dressing room. A moment later, Alfonse was waiting for them.
The manager’s eyes widened as he looked at Jenna. The surprise was brief, but the level of respect that followed was profound. He didn't see a boy in a dress; he saw a vision of high fashion brought to life. He bowed slightly, his voice smooth and deferential. "Miss Cooper, it is delightful to see you again"
There was a hint of knowing mischief in his eyes.
"Thanks Al" Jenna said softly.
Clara seemed confused, looking from Jenna to Alfonse and back again. "You know him?" and to him she asked, "How do you know her?"
Alfonse became professional when she spoke again. "Miss Cooper is one of our VIP members much like yourself."
Jenna couldn't hide her smirk. "Al, can you arrange a private room and some drinks for us."
"Certainly, Miss."
Alfonse glided toward the back of the boutique, leading the way to a secluded lounge area hidden behind a curtain of heavy charcoal velvet. The space was an oasis of hushed luxury, featuring plush cream leather sofas and a low mahogany table stocked with chilled sparkling water and artisanal hors d'oeuvres. It was a sanctuary reserved for the most elite clientele, a place where the noise of the city vanished, replaced by the soft hum of a high-end climate control system.
Clara sank into one of the sofas, her eyes never leaving Jenna. The excitement from earlier had settled into a focused curiosity. "Okay, spill everything," she commanded, though her tone was unusually gentle. "How long has this been going on?"
Jenna sighed. "Since birth actually. I have a medical condition called ADV, Androgenic Developmental Variance. Which basically means that I presented as male at birth but genetically I'm female just with a little bit extra down below."
Clara leaned in, her eyes shimmering. "So you're not a boy dressing as a girl, you're just... a girl who was told she was a boy?"
Jenna nodded, a small, cautious smile playing on her lips. "Essentially. It's why I prefer the name Jenna. It just fits."
Clara beamed, her eyes shimmering with a newfound protective streak. "Well, this explains so much. The way you carry yourself, that effortless grace. Honestly, Jason, or Jenna, whoever you are in this moment, you're far too beautiful for the drab expectations of this family." She paused, her expression turning thoughtful. "Do you think Dad would... you know, actually listen if you told him?"
Jenna sighed heavily. "Clara, this disorder is detected early, shortly after birth, so..."
It clicked for her. "He knows." Jenna nodded. "Mom knows too?"
"Probably" Jenna said truthfully, letting that sink in for a moment.
The reaction from Clara was immediate and visceral. She didn't just offer sympathy; she ignited. Her eyes, usually sparkling with a love for aesthetics, now burned with a fierce, protective rage. "He knows? He's known this whole time and he still treats you like... like some kind of mistake?" She stood up abruptly, the luxury of the lounge suddenly feeling too small for her indignation. "That absolute bastard. How can he call himself a father when he knows and treats you like some abomination?"
Jenna shrugged. "I'm used to it."
"Used to it?" Clara's voice rose in disbelief. "You can't just be 'used to' being treated like a mistake" she argued, her eyes flashing. "The way he looks at you, the way he speaks about you... it's like you're a stain on the family name. How did you even survive those first few years in the system?"
Jenna looked away, the yellow fabric of the dress bunching in her grip. The mention of the foster system brought back a flood of sterile rooms and cold glances. "It wasn't great," she admitted softly. "The ADV made things complicated. Most foster parents didn't know how to handle a child who didn't fit into a neat little box. I was either a 'confused boy' or a 'troublesome girl' depending on who was signing the checks. It’s hard to connect with people when you feel like a biological glitch in their eyes."
Clara reached across the table and grabbed her hand. "You're not a glitch. Stop calling yourself that!"
Jenna looked down at their joined hands, a small smile tugging at her lips. For the first time since arriving at the cold, echoing halls of the Whitmore estate, she felt a glimmer of genuine safety. The contrast was stark. In the lounge, surrounded by the scent of expensive leather and fresh lilies, she was seen. Outside those doors, she was a disappointment to a father who viewed her existence as a personal insult to his masculinity. She knew Arthur's brand of hatred well; it was a rigid, uncompromising thing, built on the belief that anything deviating from his narrow definition of a man was an abomination.
There was more.
She bit her lip, realizing she needed to let her sister know the real reason she decided to come back. "I think," she took a deep breath. "I think that Arthur was the one who got rid of me."
Clara froze, the smile vanishing from her face. The silence in the lounge became heavy, almost suffocating. The idea that Arthur had actively worked to push his own child away because of a biological variance was a level of cruelty that even Clara, raised in the sterile emotional environment of the Whitmores, found abhorrent. She didn't ask for details; she simply squeezed Jenna's hand, her expression one of fierce, protective solidarity.
"You're sure?" she asked, her voice soft and low. Jenna shrugged. "That bastard."
"I've been trying to find evidence but..."
Clara scoffed. "Dad's a paranoid prick. He doesn't believe in digital, if there is something, it will be in his office safe. We should..."
Jenna stopped her. "Not here. Its too public, too many eyes" She looked around and leaned in close to her sister. "I have people looking into it for me."
When she said "people", Clara's eyes widened.
"You have people?" she asked in a surprised whisper.
Jenna chuckled. "You could say that."
Clara stared at her sibling, her expression a mixture of shock and profound fascination. For the last few days, she had viewed Jason as a fragile, confused boy being crushed under Arthur's thumb, but this new revelation shifted the perspective entirely. There was a level of calculated secrecy here that she found intoxicating. She remembered how she had described him as "mysterious" just a few hours ago; she had meant it as a comment on his quiet nature, but now she realized it was a fundamental trait. She felt a surge of respect for the way Jenna had navigated their toxic home, maintaining a double life with such poise.
Jenna made a decision of her own just there. She pulled out her phone and called Jess. "Hey its me."
"Wow, two times in a week" Jess laughed on the other end. "What can I do for you today Oh Mighty Overlord of the Cloth?"
Jenna rolled her eyes. "I'm coming to the shop. I'm bringing a guest, can you prepare things for me?"
"You got it boss".
Jenna ended the call, seeing Clara raising a confused eyebrow.
"What was that all about?' asked her older sibling.
"That" Jenna said with a knowing smile. "Was me making arrangements to take you shopping now!"
*****
"Where are we going?" Clara asked, wondering why they had to leave her car behind to do so.
They were currently in a taxi, destination only known to Jenna.
Jenna said nothing, just smiled as the driver wove his way through the busy traffic.
Clara looked at her sibling with a mixture of curiosity and excitement. She had spent her entire life navigating the rigid expectations of the Whitmore household, where everything was about status and perceived perfection. Seeing Jenna so confident, and so mysterious, was like watching a movie unfold in real time. She didn't know where they were going, but the aura of secrecy made the ride feel like an adventure.
As they got closer though, Clara started to recognize the street and some of the buildings. When they pulled in front of the Vexalon building, her face lit up.
"Vexalon!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with an almost religious fervor. "You're taking me to Vexalon! How did you even manage to get us in here? I thought the appointment list was locked for the next three months!"
It wasn't one of their side branch stores either. It was the main one, their flagship. The one that only the elite of the elite were able to walk in to.
"I know someone on the inside" Jenna coyly responded before paying the driver.
As they approached the towering glass facade of the Vexalon flagship, Clara was practically vibrating. To the general public, Vexalon was a temple of unattainable luxury. To the fashion elite, it was the epicenter of avant-garde design. For someone like Clara, who lived for the prestige of the brand, being granted entry without a months-long wait was akin to receiving a royal decree. She looked at Jenna with a newfound sense of awe, wondering who exactly her sibling knew to facilitate such a feat.
The moment they stepped through the revolving doors, the atmosphere shifted. The air was scented with a custom blend of white tea and sandalwood, and the minimalist interior felt more like a curated art gallery than a store. Melissa was behind the reception desk, just like she had been yesterday. Today when she locked eyes with the beautiful two young women walking toward her, all that arrogance was gone.
She recognized Jenna immediately, even if she was dressed more femininely today.
After yesterday's blunder, Miss Howe spent an hour reprimanding her for her behavior.
Now she was up to speed on things.
She smiled sweetly. "Good afternoon, Miss Cooper" she said, not wanting to piss off the boss anymore.
The shift in her tone was palpable, a sudden pivot from haughty gatekeeper to eager servant. Clara looked between the two of them, her eyebrows knitting together. She hadn't missed the way the receptionist's spine practically curved into a bow. To Clara, Jenna was still a mystery, a sibling who had suddenly blossomed into a vision of grace, but the way the staff treated her suggested a level of influence that went far beyond being a "VIP member."
Jenna didn't give her time to dwell on the curiosity. With a practiced, subtle gesture, she led Clara away from the lobby and toward a discreet corridor marked only by a small, gold-plated sign. At the end of the hall stood a sleek, brushed-steel elevator that lacked any visible buttons.
"We can't be here" her sister hissed, looking scared.
Jenna smiled and ignored her. She walked up to the elevator and accessed the keypad, typing in a code. A second later, the elevator door opened.
"Why not?" she asked, stepping into the elevator. Clara stood stunned for a second. "You coming or not?"
Clara recovered and stepped into the elevator. As the doors were closing, she turned to her little sister. "Who the hell are you?"
Jenna smiled again.
"You'll find that the world is much larger when you have the right key," she said, her voice soft and melodic, carrying a natural femininity that left no room for doubt.
She pulled out a card and swiped it through the reader.
The elevator ascended in a hushed, pressurized silence. Clara leaned in, her eyes scanning the control panel with a mixture of confusion and awe. There were only four buttons, but the layout was peculiar. The top floor was not marked with a number, but with a gold embossed seal of the Vexalon brand. According to the rumors circulating in the highest circles of society, that floor didn't officially exist for clients, and even the most loyal patrons were never granted access.
When the doors slid open, they stepped into a sprawling atelier that felt more like a royal sanctuary than a corporate office. Floor to ceiling windows offered a panoramic view of the city, while the interior was a symphony of white marble and gold accents. Mannequins stood like silent sentinels throughout the room, draped in fabrics that looked as though they had been woven from moonlight and liquid silver. It was the heart of the empire, the private sanctum where the most exclusive pieces in the world were conceived.
The private VIP lounge.
The pinnacle of Vexalon.
Jess was standing there, dressed professionally this time. Gone were the casual layers and the playful demeanor she wore yesterday; she was now clad in a sharp, charcoal-grey tailored suit that screamed executive efficiency. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail, and she held a digital tablet with a level of focus that suggested she had been preparing for this arrival for hours. When she saw Jenna and Clara emerge from the elevator, her expression softened, though her professional posture remained.
"Hello Miss Whitmore" she said curtly then turned to Jenna, putting on a more familiar tone. "Hi, boss."
Boss.
The word hit Clara like a ton of bricks.
Jessica Howe, CEO of Vexalon Design, just called her little sister "boss".
Clara’s mouth hung open, her gaze darting between the poised, beautiful teenager in the yellow sun dress and the powerful executive standing before them. The word echoed in her head, clashing with everything she knew. In the Whitmore house, power was something inherited or seized through aggression; here, it seemed to flow naturally toward Jenna. The realization that her sibling wasn't just a socialite or a VIP, but the actual authority in the room, sent a jolt of adrenaline through her.
"Boss?" Clara whispered then looked at her sister. She regained some composure before speaking again. "She called you boss."
Jenna didn't answer immediately. Instead, she walked further into the atelier, her fingertips brushing the edge of a silk gown that looked like captured starlight. The yellow dress she wore seemed simple compared to the opulence of the room, but on her, it looked intentional, as if she were the only real thing in a room full of expensive illusions. She turned to Jess with a slight, knowing nod, her expression calm.
"Don't make a big deal of it," Jenna said, her voice soft and melodic. "Clara is just visiting. She doesn't need the full corporate briefing."
Jess smirked, her professional facade cracking just enough to show the warmth she felt for her employer. "Of course. But since you've brought her into the inner sanctum, maybe you want to show her the 'Black Label' prototypes? They're practically masterpieces."
Clara looked as though she had been struck by lightning. She looked at the gold-embossed seal of the room, then back at Jenna, who was standing with an effortless, quiet confidence that made the surrounding opulence seem like a mere backdrop. "You're telling me," Clara whispered, "that you have a direct line to the Black Label? People kill for a glimpse of those sketches."
Jess laughed. "Of course she has access, she designed them."
Clara stopped breathing for a second. She looked at the gold seal on the wall, then at the delicate girl in the yellow dress. "What do you mean, she designed them? You mean Jenna helped with a sketch or something?"
Jess laughed, a genuine sound of amusement. She leaned against the marble counter, looking at Jenna with an expression of absolute loyalty. "Clara, you don't seem to understand. Vexalon doesn't just have a creative director. It has a vision. The world knows her as Vex, the ghost of the industry. The woman who redefined quiet luxury without ever showing her face to a paparazzi lens." Jess paused, letting the weight of the revelation settle. "Jenna is Vex. She is the President and Owner of Vexalon."
Clara looked like she might faint. Her gaze traveled from the simple yellow dress to the vast, opulent atelier and back again. For a moment, she was speechless, her brain struggling to reconcile the image of her quiet, misunderstood sibling with the most powerful woman in high fashion. The "little brother" who had been mocked by their father was, in reality, the architect of the very brand Clara worshipped. The irony was delicious and staggering; if her parents and Meredith only knew that Jenna was sitting on millions, they'd flip.
Jenna didn't like to brag. She kept herself anonymous and lowkey for a reason.
Clara, however, looked as though she had just witnessed a miracle. She began to pace the white marble floor, her voice becoming a frantic hum of excitement. "This changes everything. If you're Vex, then you're not just some guest here; you're the owner of the most coveted brand in the world. Do you have any idea what this means for our social standing? If the other girls at school knew, or if Dad realized..."
Jenna shook her head. "You can't tell anyone."
Clara sighed, finally coming to her senses. "I'm not sure anyone would believe me anyway."
Jess stepped forward, clapping her hands. "Well, now that that's out of way" She handed Jenna the tablet she'd been holding, her eyes lighting up with a professional fervor. "The spring line is almost locked in, but the silk-wool blend for the Black Label evening wear is acting up. It's bunching at the shoulder of the prototype. I think the tension in the loom is off, or maybe the weave density isn't holding the weight of the embellishments. You've got to see this before we send the fabrics back to Italy."
Jenna sighed, passing the tablet back. "Handle it. I'm here to shop with my sister today."
Clara was still staring, her brain seemingly unable to process the sheer scale of the revelation. She had spent years admiring the Vexalon aesthetic from afar, dreaming of the day she might be invited to a private showing. Now, she was standing in the inner sanctum, and her sibling was the one holding the keys.
"Come on," Jenna said, her voice regaining its soft, playful edge as she led Clara deeper into the atelier. "Since you're my guest, let's actually look at the collection."
For the next hour, the world outside the glass walls ceased to exist. Jenna didn't just show Clara a few pieces; she introduced her to the entire Vexalon philosophy. She guided her through racks of ethereal silks and structured velvets, explaining the architectural intent behind each drape. Clara watched in a state of near-hypnosis as Jenna pointed out the subtle interplay of light on a hand-woven metallic fabric, discussing the tension of the weave with a level of technical expertise that left Clara breathless. It wasn't just about the clothes; it was the way Jenna spoke of the brand as a living, breathing entity of which she was the sole author.
They moved into the "Archive," a temperature-controlled vault where the most historic and experimental pieces were kept. Here, Jenna showed her the same garments that had sparked revolutions on the runways of Paris and Milan, all created in secret by a teenager the world had never seen. Clara reached out to touch a gown made of iridescent organza that seemed to shift colors with every breath, her eyes welling up. To Clara, this wasn't just fashion; it was a revelation. The sibling she had once viewed as a fragile outsider was, in reality, the most influential tastemaker of her generation.
Clara’s curiosity exploded into a barrage of questions. "How did you even start this? When did you find the suppliers for this kind of silk?" she asked, her voice frantic with excitement. "Do the models know who you are? How do you manage the logistics of a global brand while being... well, you?" She looked at Jenna, trying to reconcile the soft, feminine grace of the girl in the yellow dress with the ruthless precision required to run a luxury empire. She wanted to know everything, from the initial sketches to the secret meetings with textile engineers in Italy.
Jenna navigated the questions with a practiced, vague elegance. She didn't reveal the sleepless nights spent coding inventory systems or the complex web of shell companies that kept her identity hidden from the public eye. Instead, she focused on the artistry, pointing out the subtle shift in a garment's silhouette. "I just like to doodle in my spare time" she replied simply and left it at that.
Jess laughed. "Jen, its way more than doodles and you know it!".
Jenna didn't acknowledge the comment, instead turning her attention back to Clara. She didn't dwell on the prestige of the brand or the technical brilliance of the designs. While Clara looked at the garments as symbols of power and status, Jenna viewed them simply as pieces of art that had already served their purpose.
"Whatever you like, its yours" she said simply.
Clara stared at the racks of couture, her mind racing. The sheer scale of the generosity was overwhelming, but it was the casual nature of the act that truly stunned her. Jenna wasn't bragging or using this as leverage; she was simply treating her sister to a world that the rest of them could only dream of. For a moment, the toxicity of the Whitmore estate felt like a distant memory, replaced by the scent of expensive silk and the humming silence of the VIP lounge.
"I don't know how to thank you," Clara whispered, reaching out to touch a structured blazer of midnight blue velvet. "If Dad knew... actually, let's not even think about him. This is our secret."
Jenna watched as her sister "shopped," though it was more of a religious experience than a shopping trip. Clara moved through the racks with a mixture of reverence and greed, clutching fabrics that cost more than most people's cars. There was a frantic energy to Clara's movements, a desperation to possess the things that had always been just out of reach for her despite the Whitmore name. Jenna leaned back against a marble pillar, her expression unreadable. She felt a strange detachment, watching her sister marvel at designs that had originated in the quiet corners of her own mind during long, lonely nights in the foster system.
Were they bonding over something?
A few minutes later, Craig---the employee whom Jess called up to help---followed Clara over carrying some bags. Clara was practically bouncing up and down, her excitement hard to hide.
"I can't believe this," Clara whispered, clutching a piece of fabric. "If I wear this to the gala, everyone will lose their minds. They won't even know what brand it is because it's not even in the catalog yet." She looked at Jenna, her eyes wide. "You're actually giving these to me? Just like that?"
That gala. She'd forgotten all about it. It was where her parents were going to announce her engagement. Well Jason's engagement. The arranged one to save their business.
"You're my sister" Jenna said it and actually meant it.
Was this personal growth?
Jenna looked at Clara and wondered if she felt a genuine connection or if she was simply witnessing the birth of a strategic alliance. Until a few days ago, the Whitmores had been nothing more than a list of names on a legal document, a set of biological anchors she had never desired. The idea of family had always felt like a foreign concept, something that belonged to other people in the sterile halls of the foster system. Finding them hadn't been an emotional homecoming; it had been a tactical discovery.
After bouncing from one foster home to another, she had all but given up on true family.
She had Trix. She had Jess and the others.
They were her family.
Clara Whitmore was a stranger and yet...
Clara rushed forward and hugged her. "Thank you" she said, her voice soft, tears in her eyes.
Jenna instinctively felt herself hugging her back.
Was this what it was like to have a sibling?

Wow..
It looks as if Clara is really going to be on Jenna's side from here on in. I worry that she nay not be able to keep what she has discovered quiet, no rephrase that, I totally doubt that she will be able to do so, no matter how hard she tries.
Still, the die is cast
Great continuation.

"Lately it occurs to me..
what a long strange trip its been."
Jenna
She's finding it harder and harder to hide herself too.
Keeping secrets
Even if Clara does manage to keep quiet, once what she wears to the gala appears in the catalog the cat will be out of the bag.
Then she can be mysterious about how she got it. Much more fun when people know you have a secret than when no-one knows you have one.
Hidden Identity
That's the best part of this story :D
Jason
Is in for fun
Count one for Coop
After the last chapter, I wrote, "Clara can easily be pulled under Coop as a staunch ally, but that will require revealing some his secrets." And here we see those secrets revealed, and some new ones for us as well. Arthur can forget having Clara on his side now, in any sort of conflict whatsoever.
+1 for Jenna
the Whitmores went from zero to the minus column.
After Jenna finds out what she wants from the family records, I want to see what she'll do then.
Clara
There are hints that Clara is not exactly respected in the Whitmore household due to her 'frivolous' persona. So how did she develop such an underestimated inner life considering what their family is like? Or is it she has risen above the toxicity of family just like Jenna has had to?
To me they both have probably been underestimated and being underestimated may very well lead to the downfall of Arthur.
I look forward to seeing how that 'gala' pans out or Jenna gets the goods from out of that wall safe and that gala does not happen.
They are a natural together. Clara would've give a kidney in exchange for being an apprentice at Vexalon.
The Rebel Alliance is set (unless Meredith joins the party), Arthur the emperor of that decaying empire is going to get his comeuppance.
So given Meredith also has a clue about Jenna, I look forward to see how Meredith may be brought into the fold.
The revelation of Jenna's parents' betrayal is beyond comprehension honestly. The child is yours, your flesh and blood and to dump it without proper support when they did not even have to is *ugh!*
Jenna needs to contextualize in that her biological sibling, her biological family is in her corner now but keep her perspective on how important it is versus her family of choice is to her. Why is that so important to be honest.
Was this what it was like to have a sibling?
I think so!
Double Wow
Never mind what Clara wears to the Gala, what is Jenna going to wear!!! Is she going to play the ultimate reveal card and probably give Whitmore senior a heart attack.
As for Clara keeping quiet hmmmmmmmm no chance.
Beccy
Another new problem
I think we all agree, Clara won't be able to keep any secret. So what will Jenna do next to.mitigate the situation?
Lots of changes going, I'm no longer able to consider Jenna's next move.

That which doesn't kill us makes us strong.
The environment we grow up in goes a long way in shaping what we become. If Coop had grown up in a kinder happier environment he may not have had to use his talents as he did, or maybe, since he may not have needed them to survive and be happy, have developed and used them at all.
Hugs, Jez
