Another great chapter…….
In a wonderful story. Good action scene at the rail yard, somewhat reminiscent of a movie I saw a long, long time ago. I am somewhat surprised that the SOG team didn’t simply shoot Edwards as soon as he threw Beatrice onto the tracks. Even in an operation put together as quickly as this one I would have expected them to emplace a sniper somewhere with a clear firing line to the action. After all, they knew where Sabine was going to be, and were able to get to Edward’s compatriot easily enough.
So now all that is left is wrapping up the loose ends, covering up the extent of the CIA’s involvement by giving the French government credit for eliminating a terrorist group, and of course the question of Sabine’s identity as well as how they work out her getting Beatrice. I suspect that Sabine will end up back with Francesca, and I also suspect that she and Claire will end up together as well.

I wanted a good actiony end
I wanted a good actiony end to Edwards and his whole mess. It needed some blood to really feel right :D
As for loose ends... time for fun :D

Aha! A proper villain!
And, Sabine caught him monologuing — on an open line, no less!
Somebody’s got to get credit for thwarting the “Libyan Terrorists!” It’s either going to be Pete, Sabine, or the French. :)
Good action, and quick work from the higher ups. Convenient that their desire for no prisoners gave Sabine the opportunity for a little “wet work.” I know you could end the story here . . . but I hope you give us just a little more.

Fear not, there is a satisfactory conclusion to come. :) It deserves that much. After all, this might be the conclusion of the hostilities, but there is so very VERY much to finish.

Proper villain
Maybe, as he has to work on a proper villain laugh, but, well, water under the bridge.
Rip your guts out and skip rope
I like these colorful sayings and the best part is they don't add to the overuse of the F word. Nicely done wrap-up. And the words from the top were that prisoners weren't needed so it was ok that the handbrake was loose. Whew! We can all breathe again. Great stuff.

A good colorful insult is better than cursing randomly. When it does happen, it makes it matter more... and its more how people actually speak :D

Wham! Bang!
Vengeance is Sabine's and Ryan's too. A great action chapter and now we come to the peacetime manoeuvres to ensure that Bea ends up with Sabine.
So don't believe everything you read in the newspapers or see on TV, but as long as it's beneficial it's OK.
I think it's safe to say that
I think it's safe to say that in many ways, Ryan was excised with Edwards' death. A mother protected her child, a mother sought vengence.

Edwards
Got greedy. A simple fallback of having a swiss bank deposit box (or two) like Sabine had would've been far more safe, giving him an opportunity to fight another day.
I was a bit surprised by the wetwork but I guess all spy agencies will take out their own trash when it is so clear cut.
In the end, Edwards died for committing the ultimate sin: He made his superiors look bad.
As far as prisoners go, I am guessing Christianson is probably still alive, unless they snipered him or something?
he did, and he did not plan
he did, and he did not plan ahead because he did not expect to get caught. Ego is a real killer and the man's downfall.
As for the wetwork, you think people go on to nice prisons to talk about things? The intelligence world is... unforgiving. Christianson... heh, who knows. Probably not.
