Fun!
I'm liking the direction this is going. I only wish it was going faster! As it's past the author's bedtime, I guess I'll have to wait for tomorrow for more.

Well, Our Heroine is Part Cat
... If she goes into trances like that from a simple hair styling. :) (puuuurrr) Still, its rather odd, after the crash, that she would let this woman do her hair like that. I mean, she is a stranger, no insurance, ... wouldn't it be in her best interest if our heroine "vanished"? I'd be worrying about that myself. And with scissors that close to me.... (eeek)
I'm just wondering... what will the compensation package be?

when someone strokes my hair. And if I could purrrrrr, I definitely would. The best part for me of visiting a salon is the shampoo and scalp massage, mmmmmm… :}
Interesting
I am not sure what "Angharad" means, so I won't presume it's a name to address by and respectfully say: "To Whom This May Concern?"
I kinda like this. I mean that, to me, at the moment, it comes across as "Misery" on a bicycle and Stephen King did that, so not bad company, but the style is well, stylish. :) Perhaps it is the tonality of diffident humor when you are explaining something that is "essential" to you that is disarming? I don't know, but it is a disarming change from the rage that affects some..and I wish you the best.

It's Welsh
Yes, it's a proper name. It's Welsh and stands for "my big sister is a great writer"!
Actually, it means "more love" or "much love", depending on which reference you use.

Good job
I like this story for the easy style and light humor with an edge. Good stuff. :)
See my blog entry for some other thoughts on how it's being told. :)

Great Job!
I love it angharad, another fine tale, you little vixin. Or was that tail?
Great job keep up the good work. It is disgusting you are able to get it right the first time. I know I wouldn't get it that good on the fly.
Great job. Looking forward to your next installation.

Beautiful and mysterious at the same time.
I too like the way this is going, so far. But I must admit, if I were in an accident like this, I would be very hesitant to allow a stranger to get anywhere near me with a sharp, pointed object. I mean, this woman said she was a nurse, but how does our heroine know that? Just because someone says they are this or that, doesn't necessarily make it so. Anyway I am on to part 4. This is very intriguing.

Rather fun being able to go
Rather fun being able to go all the way back to the very beginning and seeing how Cathy first appeared and to match all this up with where she is now. Hugs, Janice Lynn
To the manner born?
I nearly always wince when I read about a TG fiction character tottering and wobbling about on heels of three inches or less. To me, these feel like (ballet-inspired) flats or “dolly” shoes! But then, I really cannot remember the first time I tried on my mom’s stiletto heels, which were all at least four inches, and I had no trouble at all managing in her Springolator mules, which provide minimal ankle support. Maybe I was born with a pair of heels on, though I’m sure I would have heard about it. I am not yet “cured” of the addiction, though many have tried… XD
