Love to see this have not
Love to see this have not read it yet. Going to be going to bed then going to read it tomorrow.
I enjoyed reading this story Amethyst.
When I first started reading this story, I had this odd sense of deja vu of having read this story before, but it wasn't quite the same. However as I read along, I realized that this was the basically the same story as Cat Stop Loving You, but as told from Copycat's perspective. As it turns out, I enjoy reading stories which is sort of the same story, but seeing the events from a different character's perspective. Keep up the good writing Amethyst.
Hugs,
Tamara Jeanne
Glad you enjoyed it
The first half of the story was all Kat but fleshing out things I only briefly mentioned before from James' point of view and the second part I really wanted o show that te same thing was going on as in the other story but have people see it from Kat's point of view so the readers could get a feel for her turmoil as well and again flesh out some things that weren't mentioned in the other story or only glossed over.
*hugs*

Purrrfect!
Purrrfectly wonderful story,
and that's no kitten around.
*giggles*
I just couldn't resist.

I used my share of puns so I can't really blame you. :)

My cats give this two paws up
So sweet and it explains a lot more about Kat.
Still begs the question of Emma's parents and the future of the two would be lovers. Or of Keven/Kat's sister and her eventual activation.
Hum if Kat can be Kevin for a few hours at a time does that mean she could be a father if they stay and grow as a couple?
Some years down the road though.
Also explained a great about Wildthing.
Poor young woman.
John in Wauwatosa
P.S. Cute how Kat despite her realizing she only was attracted to girls felt jealousy when she thought Emma might be James' hottie White/Asian girlfriend.
John in Wauwatosa
Intrestin thoughtt!
I would add one oddball twist to temporarily transformed "Kevin" being a father, All Female Offspring, no Y chromosome! Of course you never know what they might turn out to be when they when they activate.
Kat
I really wanted to give a better idea of how things went for Kat before everything happened with James and I will be telling more stories about the two of them that will go into what happens with Emma's family and what the future brings.
The pair could have children but as Hypatia said it's probable they would only have girls.
As for Wildthing I thought this would be a great time to show that stress triggers activation and it can happen at any time or not at all thought about what would cause a small child to activate and I was pretty happy with the reason I came up with. It also shows how many people mistreat mutant children in this world.

Amethyst
P.S. I felt that the Jealousy made sense given that she did love James, but knew she would never be able to pursue him as a male, so she got jealous of the girl who she thought was and ended up being a bit 'catty' ;)
super sweet
sniff, sniff ...
aww thanks Dottie
I do love writing a love story :)

Seriously Weird
This is one of the most convolutedly crazy products of a seriously disturbed mind. I am sooooo glad that you are here and I absolutely love your work. Please keep it coming.

Does this mean
I get one of those cool white coats that fasten in the back? Seriously though, I always think that my ideas are so demented and weird that nobody will like them, but it makes for some fun writing so I write them anyway. I'm just glad people are enjoying what I put out here.
*hugs*
Amethyst
Not easy
writing the same events from a different viewpoint. They have to be different, but they also have to jive with what you've already written. Nice job!

Grover
It's really hard
to make a story like this mesh with what I've written previously and yet still make it an interesting and entertaining story in it's own right. I just hope I managed to do that here.
*hugs*
Amethyst
Really sweet
What a good story and super sweet and cute.

Double post -oops

Awww, you enjoyed it enough
to post twice. ;)
I'm happy that you enjoyed it, I do have a soft spot for romance.

Amethyst
nice to see
the flip side story.
well done, thanks
Keep them coming,
It was fun.
It resembled Morpheus's Round and Round pretty closely, but it is obvious both were original.
Irony
Glad you enjoyed it.
The irony is that I usually read everything Morpheus posts right away but I was so busy working on this and other work that I still haven't had time to read Round and Round yet.
james parents
james got his hyperness from one or both parents, it would be funny if they became the hyper's that they hate
re: James' parents
He did get it from somewhere and the next story I have planned for this pair will focus on that exactly, as well as why his Mom in particular hates mutants so much. It will reveal the past present and future of James' family.
Nice Story
Though this genre is not my thing, I still think this was a fun, thought evoking story. Thank You.
Gwen
Thanks Gwen
I'm glad you enjoyed it despite it not being your usual genre. I love making people think when I'm writing, it's one of the best parts about being a writer.

Kat's perspective.....
Was just as wonderful as Emma's! Just wondering though about the local Law enforcement, are they equipped to deal with powerful hypers? Amethyst sweetie, I enjoyed this perspective as well, and looking forward to seeing more of these two love birds in the future! Loving Hugs Talia
Thanks Talia
I'm glad you enjoyed it. The police's ability to deal with Hypers largely depends on the area. Larger cities can afford restraints that inhibit powers and other technological ways of subduing Hypers such as power armor but they're expensive and not a lot of urban centers can afford them, especially smaller ones. Mutants like Blackout can also make a lot of money by offering their services to suppress powers when moving dangerous mutants into specialized prisons. Some groups like the Sentries are actually government funded to back up police and other government services in the case of dangerous mutants such as the Foul Four.
So really it varies by country, city, etc.

Me, too.
I got to a point in the story where I wondered if I hadn't read it before but it was posted as a new story. Then you tied in the fire and I knew I was home. I loved hearing the other side of this and the ending brought tears of joy to my eyes. Thanks for the great story.
lol
Want to read more on this story please
Nice one
As somebody else mentioned I too have read the other story before.
Like this very much, thank you.

Twice
This is the second time I've read this, and I have to say this: I love it just as much this time as the first time and the only complaint I have is that I wish it was twice as long as it is. But that is true of any and all good stories I read!
