hmmm
I can't help but wonder, what would Lori do if Luke said "I hate you" to her. I mean based on what I've read, she doesn't seem to think what she's doing is bad per se, just her 'setting things right' and not at all something to be upset about. So I wonder what kind of shock it would be to her to hear that, and I wonder how much it would hurt her. Considering how many television programs and youtube series have siblings portrayed in them that are really close, ie: the protective older brother, it may be a real kick in the teeth to see that she lacked what was supposedly a completely idealized part of having a sibling.
Just a thought.
In other news, I have been mentally re-writing this, it's been a fun exercise
Would love to

I am happy that you are enjoying the story. I would love to see how you would rewrite the story.

I honestly think that if Luke
I honestly think that if Luke told Lori that he hated her, that she would dismiss it as unimportant. She is just that arrogant.
You are a meany
Or Luke could just bring the dress to his father and ask him if he wants Luke to keep wearing the dress for his mother and sister. I like your story Sarah, I'm just waiting for one thing to drop in Luke's favor. I hope that Luke gets some help and doesn't do something stupid like shutting out his family from his life. You've laid the blame of this squarely in Alice's lap. Perhaps some of the blame should be on Fred as well. I thought things would change for the better after Fred sent the siblings away so he could have a talk with Alice, but there didn't seem to be any changes. I would think that Fred needs to take a bigger role in the siblings upbringing, he must understand that from all of the bad decisions Alice has made regarding both of the twins. Would love to see more dialogue. Dee

I can’t help but wonder how long......
It will be until Fred sees just what a childish asshole Alice really is, takes Luke with him, and walks out.
I don’t think Luke would mind that happening at all, and Lori would simply see it as a victory in her selfish little war on her brother.
Alice really is one of those people who should never have had children. She has not only ruined her son’s childhood and traumatized him for life, she has also created a true monster in her daughter. Lori is set up for a fall one of these days when she realizes that the rest of the world couldn’t care less about her, and Alice is in for a major wake up call when her world comes crashing in on her due to her own stupidity.

The only thing I am really
The only thing I am really afraid of is Luke finally snapping and doing harm to his mother and sister. Great story, but I do tend to skim it now than read it as I get very mad at Alice and Lori and think a good spanking would suit her so much.
I am still amazed.
This story has such a massive amount of rationalization to justify the unjustifiable. And you make it all work. Awesome writing. Thank you.
No return
In this story Sara has shown that far from breaking and turning a boy into a sissy, the real effect of petticoat punishment would possibly toughen the victim up, and learn to use force over those he can, four years have passed, as he gets older Alice will no longer be able to physically subdue him and if she makes him realy angry could he scare her with the possibility of a violent reaction, fred unfortunately has had his chance and he is guilty of Luke's alienisation as the others, will someone ever accuse Alice of child abuse and what would that do to her social circle
Holding on...
It's getting rough to keep going, but I just feel too invested to give up now... like if I do then the story will never be resolved in my mind and bother me for years. I'm basically addicted to seeing this story through to a happy conclusion. (I sincerely hope) Loving it the whole way!
A crevice will eventually open
Mike needs to have his head banged against the wall a few times to rearrange his brains. He thinks by keeping things stirred up between Blake and Luke, and the other kids and Luke, he'll continue being buds with Blake. What he doesn't see coming is the day Blake finally wises up to see it was Mike who was responsible for all the black eyes he got from Luke. He will finally see how he was played by Mike. When that day comes, Mike might find himself flat on his back looking up at Blake after Blake decked him.
Grade school is a false world, but to Lori it's the real world. As Lori advances in school she's going to find it harder to influence those much older than her, or try to turn them against Luke. There will be mixed grade classes Luke will take where those in the class will get to know Luke, and see what Lori is doing when she goes into her act.
Lori getting upset because Luke beat her stooges at Laser tag caused her to reveal something she has always hid from Fred, her hatred of the attention Luke got over her.
Lori thinks she's always going to be the top attention getter in her life. She doesn't know that people, in the real world, have ways of dealing with drama queens. And she won't like it one bit.
Alice can't see it, even Lori can't see it, but their mistreatment of Luke is strengthening his character to the point of having a resolve stronger than those around him. He'll have such a strong resolve that on the day he's legally an adult, and out from his mother's thumb, he's likely to tell her to go to hell as he moves out of the house. And on that same day, if Lori is around, he's likely to slap the shit out of her before telling her the same thing.
Mom and Lori have burned their bridges with Luke. A day will come when both will need his help and he will turn his back on them both.
Unless something drastic takes place between now and then.
Others have feelings too.
I'm astounded
that this could go on for four years and yet seem to not have blown up or at the very least have had Luke fall apart. I know from experience that you can only take this kind of abuse for so long before something gives.
