Waterfall Dress
I shivered at the idea. First there are the really ugly patterns to the cute ones. Then there is the type of material. Mix in if the material has patterns designed in. A train wreck waiting to happen as the majority of people have zero talent in one or all three. There are so many real life instances in your stories it truly brings them to life out of the fantasy realm.
Nicely done Gillian

Life is meant to be lived, not worn until it's worn out.
Oklahoma born and raised cowgirl
It truly brings them to life out of the fantasy realm
Thanks Barb, Carla seems to have made a success of Mum's dress, I am sure that it will not be the last time to be asked . Carla is definitely getting nearer and nearer to the point of no return.

I've often wondered
I've often wondered if the "nurse with glue" approach is as effective as the various stories I've read assert. It is a lovely fantasy. A bit of an off again on again approach that might be nice for those of us who fantasize about trying on a new sex and gender. I an deeply fascinated by the prospect and have, for the most part, contented myself with spandex, foam rubber and tight laces. I suppose that there is a bit of a continuum along our expression of sexuality and gender.
I applaud you on the characters you have built. I'm, very much enjoying the way you balance dialog, exposition and narrative.
The required level of suspended disbelief has been spot on. If only reality were as accepting and trusting as the characters in your story. In all I'm enjoying the craft as much as I am enjoying the story itself. Brava!
As always, I am looking forward to your next segment.

Nurse with glue?
Fantasy Urban myth or realistic option to simulate female genetalia? This is to a large extent a fantasy website where a lot of the stories have questionable events taking place which help the story along.
Thank you for your very kind comments Crash, support is always really appreciated.

Being treated better
Carla seems to have found something she's good doing with the sewing. Being able to sew that dress for her mom pleased mom no end.
It seemed a foregone conclusion Carl's dress code protest would advance to something more, something which now has him wondering if he will go back to being a boy.
As a boy, he wasn't treated as Carla is being treated by the girls. While the boys are shunning him now, most of the girls welcome her with open arms, so to speak.
And now that he has the physical appearance of a girl, and can see how he looks after the body work, the question of going back is even more muddied.
Others have feelings too.
Being treated better.
Carl(a) is definitely now more at ease with the girls, but in his/her mind is still doing this as a protest, rather than a lifestyle choice. The final chapter ( in this series ) will answer a lot of questions, but will still leave many more to be resolved. your continued interest in the story and your comments are much appreciated
