So glad to see more!
I had pretty much given up hope on ever seeing the continuation of this story. I loved the first two books, and was well into the third one when you put out the first version - but I definitely feel this is an improved version.
I can’t wait to see more!

Thank you
Unfortunately, because the first two books were poorly written with too many mistakes, plot inconsistencies, character inconsistencies, etc, I've had to spend the past 2 years rewriting the entire series from the ground up.
The new series, "The Gun Princess Royale" (note the use of "The" in the title) is almost ready.
I plan to take elements of this book 3 and incorporate them into the new series. Having said that, I've had 7 years to rethink my approach to "The Gun Princess Royale" and hopefully my writing has matured beyond even this unpublished novel.
I can't give up on Mirai/Isabel. She's too much a part of my life now.
Thank you for sticking with this series for so long.
I promise, the new series is a long step up.
Cheers.
I can understand why Ronin is
I can understand why Ronin is pissed off at his sister for doing that to him without his consent or even asking him, but has he ever thought to ask her why she did it too him.
I'm assuming she had a good reason and not because she's a mad scientist like he claims she is, judging by the way that she cares for her friend and the fact that she is trying to help him as she didn't just leave him for someone else to take care of.
Maybe it was needed to save him, right now he's too much into his pity and anger to think about it clearly.
and obviously someone is out to get Mirai, so he does need her help whether he wants to admit it or not.
I don’t know if you have read the first two books…….
But Ronin’s sister did in fact abandon him - as his parents did as well.
He was living on his own and had not seen nor heard from his sister in a very long time. His sister, like his parents, got caught up in her research and he was left to fend for himself. So understandably there is an underlying current of mistrust and even anger on his part. Added to what he has been put through, being dumped into Mirai’s body (a male, albeit an effeminate one, stuck in a female body), being treated like a commodity - or worse a lab rat, having all rights and decisions taken away from him, having his whole life and all of his friends taken away and being told he will never be able to go back to being who he was before……..
Yeah, why wouldn’t he be pissed off?

I can tell you that some of
I can tell you that some of that will be answered in this no longer "canon" version of the story. This novel is 24 chapters long. It was part 1 of the second-arc of the story.
There is a chapter where Ronin and Erina's relationship comes to a head.
It's also something that I have retained for the reboot/reimagined "The Gun Princess Royale" 2023.
Ronin's relationship with his sister is still as essential in the new reimagined series as it was in this one.
Thank you for sticking with this crazy story of mine.
