Well, here goes: a group of unemployed transgirls are facing eviction if they don't come up with the rent by the end of the month. Desperate times calling for desperate measures, one of them applies for a waitressing job at a sleazy downtown bar, but quickly discovers that she can earn $500 a night stripping down to her underwear. Realizing the potential fortune to be made, all five girls decide to pool their resources and go into the lingerie dancing business.
Let me know if I should write (and illustrate) this story.

Write it, but think it through first
Why did you choose 5? I think 3 might be a better number.
If the illustration is of the first girl, then she is a knockout, but perhaps her 2 roomies are 1 shy and 1 chunky, so she draws them out and persuades the bar owner that they are a 3 person act?
Perhaps they are in various stages of transition and this is an uplifting story about gaining confidence in the female form?
Perhaps there is a love interest? Perhaps 3? Perhaps one is the bar owner.
On a side note, if that is the quality of your illustrations, would you think about illustrating one of my stories?

Its a good way to develop an interesting story background for each girl and how they feel doing that type of work. I say go for it as well.

I've written five stories set in the same continuity; this one is meant to bring all the characters together. It's also meant to be a prequel to this story, explaining how the protagonist got into the glamour business.
I was planning for at least one of them to be slightly reluctant, fearing 'exposure' of her true identity; her character arc would involve coming to terms with her sense of otherness.
Possibly, though it probably wouldn't involve any of the bar staff. I was planning to contrast the girls' innocence against the amorality of the club circuit.
Why not
Five? Or maybe seven, or six, or a baker's dozen? Why limit it to just a couple?
And what's with the different types? Are there different boxes to be ticked off when writing a TG story? "Okay, we have one of these. So now we need one of these and one of these . . . ."
Love interests. How about a couple of lesbians? Or maybe the bar owner is an attractive woman in her early thirties. Oh, or maybe a couple of the waitresses fall for the girls. It's a myth that TG girls fall for the first prick they see. I was a lesbian pre-op and still a lesbian post-op.
In short, stop trying to impose restrictions on a story that isn't even written yet. Let transfemme write it the way she wants.

Ideas are the seeds of a story
They are essential for the story’s creation. But it takes a lot more than seed to create a field of corn. Mostly, it’s a lot of work, and that can be a labour of love or a real slog.
So, what I’m saying is that sure, the idea sounds an interesting seed for a story. But it’s not us potential readers who need to say it. It’s you, the author, who will have to turn that seed into the wonderful creation of a story. If it inspires you, then go ahead, bringing your thoughts into words and in so doing, create life out of just an idea.
