RE: Unfinished Projects:

Several years back, I started writing a story about a beautiful young transgirl who moves in with her wealthy "uncle" while attending art school. At first they get along fine, but then he begins demanding unusual "favors" in return for food and board:

It was so unfair! None of the other students had to practice in their underwear - not even the girls!!

So...over the past few decades, TG fiction has gone through several distinct phases, and one of the most striking changes is the near‑disappearance of what I'll call the old "coercive discipline" trope — the strict guardian, the melodramatic punishment, the exaggerated authority figure who pushes a character toward transformation. In the 1990s and early 2000s, these elements were everywhere. They weren’t treated as realism; they were part of a larger tradition of heightened, symbolic storytelling.

So...here I am at the end of my contract, having reached the mandatory retirement age in my country of residence. Theoretically, I should have plenty of time to complete all of my unfinished stories, but it goes without saying that nothing is ever as simple as it first appears.

While I have a small pension provided by the government, it's not quite enough to make ends meet, meaning I have to decide what to do next. Basically, its a choice between finding another job in the private sector or moving to a cheaper country.

OK, time for the truth: did anyone else here ever hold private strip-shows in the mirror when you had the house all to yourself?

...for every time someone viewed my website, I'd be making around $3,000 dollars a week. Meanwhile, over at Amazon, I'm lucky if I shift nine units a month (and that would be a particularly busy season).

Hi all. I've had a little more time on my hands than usual, so I thought I'd start up a Wordpress site to post my latest ideas and artwork. Feel free to drop by for a look; not much to see so far but I'm planning to make regular updates over the next few weeks.

In a perfect world, there would have been department stores like this when we were growing up, and we wouldn't have had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the back-to-school sale.
